Super-Villain Tournament nominations (closed)

edited November 2006 in Graphic Violence
Greetings, peons. After watching the pathetic whining and simpering you fools have done over these so called heroes, Doom has decided to test the other side of that coin. To that end, Doom is hosting a tournament to find the true dominant villain in all of the multiverse.

THESE ARE THE RULES FOR NOMINATION, AS SO DECREED BY DOOM:

1. No villains that were introduced in a medium other than comics. No Darth Vader, no Rodan, no Megatron. Keep your foolish toys away from serious combat, peasants.

2. No cosmic omniscient superbeings. This includes Galactus, Thanos, Darkseid, Mephisto, Korvac, and anyone else Doom can think of.

3. All of the fools who participated in the hero tournament are hereby banned from Doom's contest. Doom does not cater to flip flops.

4. No "evil versions" of heroes. This includes the Crime Syndicate of Amerika, the Marvel Zombies, and Fernus. Bizarro, Inertia, Zoom, Match, and Batzarro are exceptions to this rule.

5. Doom encourages originality, but remember that the more obscure your villain is, the less likely it is that Doom will consider him for the tournament. Doom does not care if you have gay fantasies about Batroc The Leaper, but he will not indulge them.

6. Doom is eligible for this contest, and he does encourage his own nomination. Doom is a man of honor, and swears not to interfere with the proceedings of this tournament for personal gain.

YOU ARE LIMITED TO THREE NOMINATIONS.

NOMINATIONS WILL END AT MIDNIGHT TOMORROW, EASTERN TIME.

I notice you didn't ban Thanos.

That said, I vote for the Joker. And the Riddler. Venom.

    Kingpin, Bane, Mr. Sinister

EDIT: Okay, so Kingpin was in that shitty Daredevil movie, and Bane was in that shitty Batman movie. Do those really even count?

DOUBLE EDIT: Oh, INTRODUCED in a medium other than comics. My bad. Sorry, I was getting worried there for a second.

I expect Sandman and The Answer to go places.

But Kaine is probably gonna get visions of the winner of the tourney standing over MJ's dead body.

Then get impaled by a 2x4.

Please check the updated rules. No Crime Syndicate, no heroes gone bad or temporarily insane. Doom will not have this turn into the same tournament as before with evil versions of all the same people.

Can we nominated characters who were introduced in a comic series that's based on another form of media?

    If so then

    Durge

    Asaaj Ventress.

    And Shredder.

What about characters that came from the DCAU? Like Phantasm, or Batman Beyond characters?

Superboy Prime, Eclipso (Jean Loring) and Gloriana Tenebrae. If any of them are not allowed, just say the word and I will replace them.

This has got me thinking, are there any Darkseid level female villains? Or at least Mongul level?

You really didn't need to be such a dick about this, since we all know this tournament will end in an inexplicable Magneto/Doom circlejerk anyway.

Because God knows that Shade is a well known hero.

    Guys, guys.

Magneto and Shade were in the other tournament, and thus can't be in this one.

    It's in the rules.

Also: SPB is way too strong, no?

I know it's going to be an unpopular choice, but first vote is Carnage.

*edit* Didn't see Apocolypse was already nominated. Replacing him with Psycho-Pirate

Third is Onslaught, unless he's too powerful.

Well, Harley Quinn was transitioned into the comics, but I don't recall all of them being transferred.

So, instead of SBP, I'll nominate Gorilla Grodd.
