Need this for a work thing and it is not really in my wheelhouse.

Considering there are no radio shacks, where is the best place to order wiring stuff. not like home electrical but more for like making circuit stuff.

I need to make essentially a switch plate to send a current to different wells of a culture plate. I have a schematic and everything, just need the parts.

capacitor (220 μF)
platinum wire (0.25 mm ∅)
platinum electrode (0.5 mm ∅)
6 on off switches
also need resistors but not sure size

that is the schematic

Digikey will have everything you need. https://www.digikey.com/
there's other places, but that's my go-to. One warning: they have a friggin' enormous product database.

I've used Wholesale Electronics Inc before for work stuff. http://weisd.com/ It's not nearly as massive as digikey, but the min-order quantities are friendlier and the site is a bit easier to use.

You also need to figure out how (and to what) you want to mount your various components. Generally you can choose between surface mount, through hole, and axial connections for most parts.

Also, is there any particular reason why you are using such small gauge wire and platinum? Solder itself is normally ~.75mm OD. Something 1/3 of the size is going to be a real pain in the ass to work with.

Depending on where you are, there are still some small hobby/component stores that have a whole bunch of stuff and people with a lifetime of knowledge just hanging out. You can try calling a few places that do RC and Drones. Seems like that stuff is making electronics a little popular again.

Oh, if you didn't like my first choice Digikey, then you probably won't like my second choice Mouser Electronics.

So they're both geared more towards kits, but both Sparkfun and Adafruit do sell components, and might be easier to search for your stuff.

I'm trying to figure out that wire choice. Is there not room for a bigger gauge (diameter) going to the electrodes?

well essentially it is for a stimualtor and needs to fit in a small well. like a couple cm's max

Also, it's been a long time since I've take circuits, but I think your waveform post-capacitor is wrong. http://www.electronics-tutorials.ws/rc/rc_2.html

Out of curiosity are you doing permeability measurements or, more broadly, testing cell confluence?

i am going to be using the stim to mimic exercise in cultured muscle cells by making them contract
