    This was a total shock when I saw the news. His music had been on my heart for a while, but for some reason I always thought of him as an artist who "made it"... in other words, living through the uncertain turbulent times that sometimes take artists such as Kurt Cobain or Jim Morrison. The album Superunknown has left an indelible impression on me; it's a masterpiece. Cornell's death is weighing pretty heavily on me, but I'm grateful he gifted us with such wonderful music while he was here. I almost went the same way, once (hanging). It's easily something that could happen by accident; to someone not in his/her right mind.

    R.I.P. Chris, safe travels. You are a beautiful soul.
