Actually the wording in the article makes it sound like Fatality is only for Tarik, but it says the Khawarij Spitfire profile will be modified as well. I think people jumped the gun and assumed they'd get Fatality as well.
edit - PDFs are available, and the Khawarij Spitfire gets Fatality L2, as does Tariks AP Rifle profile. Niiiice.

Ramah Taskforce is the most complete new sectorial. From what they've said at cons and such, it's just waiting for the book and miniatures to be made. IIRC they also talked about doing a 'get you by' mini sectorial list like they did for USAriadna before HSN3. So I wouldn't be surprised to start seeing more Ramah models show up soon. Khawarij box is pretty high in demand as there's a few profiles in there people want even to run solo.
Miniature Market is another good one, especially for the frequent sales.
It's also p convenient for us people stuck in the soft jelly-filled middle of the continent

On mayacast they said there would be a 'special surprise' for Americans at gencon. They might have fast tracked Blackjacks.
The original plan was to have a box of 4, one each of each profiles, plus a Battle Damaged miniature for each. But they keep saying the models are going to be really big, so they might have split it into 2 boxes - hence the two mystery release slots.
And I've finished my first ever Infinity model! Learned a lot painting this one, made some definite mistakes (not use to painting skin, holy crap do you need to thin down pale skin colors a lot, thought I did but still got some chalky results).
Overall though, good enough, certainly hits my bar for tabletop quality, now to figure out what to build and paint next. Maybe a Spitfire Druze buddy for her to Duo with.
I'm in Australia but I know a lot of people in the US use Meeplemart.

For my two cents on Tarik, I think that crits are already the worst part of this game and the way they work does way too much to favour order spam and anything that doubles their occurrence rate is a terrible rule.
So it turns out there apparently is a list out there that let's me use most of my bizarre hodgepodge of units, while still playing the faction I'm most interested, Haqqislam.
I guess QK can field both Druze and Alguacil which means I can actually use 4 (of the 7) models I got for free in this list, which is nice!
So I cobbled together a list, I don't expect it to set the world on fire or anything, but if anyone wouldn't mind looking it over and let me know if I missed something glaring that would be rad.
Group 1:
Kaplan 5 Man Link:
Engineer w/ Combi Rifle, ADHL
Doctor
Spitfire
Multi-sniper rifle
Mook w/ Blitzen
16 Models, 19 orders. 300 points exact. KTS are the primary heavy lifters in their 5 man link, Druze can go chase some objectives, try to isolate people, hack. Sekban are a defensive team with their 360 visors, can push up lategame if they have to. Yuan yuan are the monkey wrench to drop in the enemy backline and generally muck things up and try to break up their defensive formations and link teams before the KTS hit. Alguacil are there as cheap filler, hide the Lt, cheap specialists, and because I have the models.
Things I'm less than thrilled with. Only using 3.5 of my SWC. No MSV2 in the list so smoke is going to suck for me. I could try shuffling the Sekban out for some Djanbazans.

With a lot of the lighter factions (ALEPH, Nomads and so on) I often have lists that don't fill SWC. It comes from the fact that the defining units of them aren't big dudes in power armour with bigger guns but from utility. I can't really comment on your list (because I don't play Haqq, as cool as they are) but the only really obvious thing to me is that, if the Sekban are defensive, they could really use something chunkier than a rifle.

Drop one YuanYuan (they come in blisters of two anyway) and upgrade the Druze Boarding Shotgun to a Spitfire. That'll bring you to 298/5. The Killer Hacker/Combi is enough close range deterrent, they Spitfire adds some nasty mid to long range punch. Also the Spitfire is in a single blister and you'd have to proxy the Shotgun, as there's no mini yet.

Also if you want to go QK I'd suggest hunting down a pack of Fat Yuan Yuans. The old Yuan Tuans are, well, old. The minis are really dated. The Fat Yuan Yuans were a 'limited' release but most stockists ordrred oodles of them so they're not hard to find. They're also hilarious.
Where do you folks in the states like to order your infinity models through? Any particular favorite sites?
Miniature market has sales, letting you pick up less popular models at 30-60% off sometimes. Gamenerdz is generally cheaper and has free shipping; I've bought from them a few times with no problems, but they don't keep a high stock like MM does (took them a month to get the Aleph starter restocked).

what do my fellow aussies usually use? the order I just did the other week was from combat company, since pitching in with some friends got us to the free shipping threshold easy

I work about 5 minutes from The Combat Company so I just drive over and buy stuff in my lunch break. Though even if I didn't I'd use them. Great prices, fast turnaround, friendly service.
I'd try to get a Spitfire or HRL into that Sekban team as well. Not sure how mind as that takes you over the SWC. Ideally you could try to turn the Alguacile LT into a Ghulam?
I really like the look of Muse on Minis Infinity tokens but haven't gotten any yet and thus can't speak to how good they are in person.
I really like the Micro Art Studio ones but they don't seem to make 25mm tokens for orders/command tokens etc anymore. I just quite like the base infinity art, it seems real clear and such.
They have got 25mm ones for the model tokens, like camo tokens etc, though

Print off the free tokens from the Infinity site on decent paper, punch them out with a 1"/25mm round circular punch, and affix a clear round epoxy 1"/25mm sticker to each.

I'd recommend www.toysoldierimports.com, The Combat Company is generally faster, but the guys at Toy Soldier do a ton to support the community while the guy who owns TCC is generally known for being a massive asshole towards competitors and Australia always does really badly with a single company having a monopoly on these kinds of things. That said Combat Company is generally the right call if you need something ASAP.
And in a shameless plug myself and five mates from the Newcastle meta are starting new army's and running a blog for it if anybody is interested in some tactics ramble and battle reps for Infinity. https://sixgamers.wordpress.com/

I had thought about this but I had trouble finding any of those epoxy stickers that are flat rather than rounded bubble shapes

If you want flat then just find some clear acrylic discs on ebay. The issue I've encountered is that no adhesive cures perfectly crystal clear and though no one else would ever notice, I can't get past it.
The convex epoxy beads look and feel great and are dirt cheap. I'd advise against writing them off.

I'd use TSI, but their range is painfully limited. I'm assuming because it's more of a garage company stocking what the owners play, which is how an Infinity stockist about 2 years ago operated. Can't remember their name.
But when I'm looking around, I tend to window shop a bit. I play Malifaux so sometimes I'll throw in stuff from both games, I frequently tack hobby supplies like paints and brushes onto orders, I buy the occasional board game. TSI's limited scope stops me from hobby shopping the way I like to.
But I'll be buying my Warsenal Bourak stuff from them. So handy that they stock that stuff, which cuts a lot of the absurd shipping.
TCC is the cheapest but they are also anti-competitve dochnozzels. TSI is probably the best bet. They are nice dudes in person and were heavily involved in the Infinity scene before the started stocking stuff. Now they are still heavily involved. They basically ended up running Cancon this year and will sponsor pretty much any Aussie event if you hit them up. They are good people.
Deon and Kon are ballers, a mate of mine missed the window for ordering a model he needed for a tournament, so Deon brought our order to the tournament and let my friend borrow his Dr Worm to play with that day.
I think I actually like the old Yuan Yuans more than the fat one, just not my style. Though I agree the old ones could use a resculpt.

I am actually getting this game into stock in my store. I'm really excited to see how it plays, but I'm only ordering in a starter box for a customer the Icestorm Starter Set (is this the newest one?). If it goes well, I'm hoping to start a league and get some others roped in - but small steps first. I was wondering if this is one of those games with a "living" ruleset where they make the rules for free, or alternatively, how do I figure out what's the latest rules?
Also here's a pic of an epoxy sticker and an acrylic disc that I made (WIP ghulam for scale):
As much as I like the look of the discs, the epoxy was just so much easier to get better results.
I asked a few craft-y friends of mine and they suggested using really thick card stock and watered down thing superglue or PVA glue should do the trick just fine for using the acrylic disks. The trick is to use as little as possible and make sure you spread it evenly over the whole surface.

The rules are available in:
a) Free Download PDFs on their website Link
b) a Rules Wiki Link
c) Print Books Link
In all instance what you're looking for is "N3" - Infinity third edition. Bookwise some of the content used to be split among the main rulebook and the supplements Human Sphere and Campaign Paradiso, but I think in the third edition the main book has it all?
Honestly I don't know because the wiki answers all my questions so easily that's all I ever use, lol. Mostly by clicking on the link from the free online army builder from the rule on a unit profile directly to the wiki page.
IMO this is the most enlightened way to manage a wargames rules system that I've ever seen.

Third edition books are still split between main and Human Sphere. No Tohaa, Aleph, or sectorials in the main N3 book.
But yeah the wiki and the army builder is the only way to fly.
I bought the books because while the rulebooks are free PDFs, they also come with companion fluff books (and exclusive minis if they're still stocked) that are not available as free pdfs.

Operation Icestorm was the first 2 player starter set, but they've made another one, Operation Red Veil, which includes 2 different factions.
Operation Icestorm has Nomads vs PanOceania
Operation Red Veil has Yu Jing vs Haqqislam
I believe both starter sets had a little booklet which suggested how to expand the forces up to 300 points, but Corvus Belli have announced 2 expansion boxed sets for the 2 starter sets.
