Nostalgic request

notechideanotechidea Registered User new member
When on holiday in the late 1970s and early 1980s, my brother and I became addicted to an arcade game.
All I remember of it was that it was a 'shoot em up' style with cowboys I think. The best bit was when they died they floated to the top of the screen in alittle white coffins, accompanied by a really catchy tune.
Does anyone remember this game please?

The first game I thought of was Gun.Smoke, but that was definitely not around in the 70s. I found this video featuring a bunch of different western-style games. Perhaps one of them is a match?

Many thanks to you both for your replies. Just sorry I couldn't get back to you as quickly ( went away to get married is my excuse). Anyway I think you are right about "Boot Hill".
Im hoping to get a copy for my brother's 50th bd present, so thank you again for your replies.
