    Also why waste the transform instead of just putting the pistol down? In case the folks ahead of you didn't hit and you could pick up an extra blood?

    Because I've seen 3 possible scenarios in this turn: if no one would have played the pistol I would have played it to get the blood and the trophies, our case, than finally if already 2 people would have played pistol I would have wasted bone saw instead and kept pistol witch might be useful....
