I haven't really picked a "theme" yet which is telling since shit starts today. I want to just play with the pens though and keep it light on rules for myself, I think. I feel like the official prompts are a little all over the place for me.
Don't forget to resize stuff before it hits the forums, folks! (I got you @Blameless Cleric, but if you'd rather it link to imgr you'll need to switch it back out)
You can change your camera settings if you dont want to fuck with it after the fact, try and get something in the 1000X1000 range. Instagram links will turn into little embedded cards if you are into that.
I've got 3 banged out and I need to get off my ass and do the next 3. I'll try and post the first one when I get home. I'm kind of off to a rocky start. My inclination to noodle and do detailed pieces is at odds with how much I actually need to do so I imagine they're gonna be kind of rough until I hit my stride.
The quality on these are ... not going to be great. I'm having to shoot on my phone since my scanner won't scan. My goal is basically finishing, not so much the prettiness of it. Which, that may just be a cop out?
It's more about the practice and just sticking to it. I'm trying to dial mine back to something a little quicker. I've got too much on my plate this month to spend an hour a day on these.
I'm probably going to be lazy and let instagram do the resizing work for me for this, and scan things for my thread/tumblr later. If nothing else, it'll be good practice for maintaining my instagram and twitter at a more "normal" pace.
I made myself a list with the idea of using the "main" prompt as an influence/detail while giving myself some room to play with compositions so that I'll end up with something useful for some larger paintings later on.
sorry, these are all gonna be pretty bad. Hopefully by the end they'll be better. This was just straight into ink with micros

okay, I've been meaning to get back into drawing (haven't done it since college), so this is pretty much perfect timing. Started a day late, so here's two.
sorry for the weird lighting
also I'm interested in learning digital drawing, so if you know of any good beginner-tutorials for photoshop drawing (free or paid), I'd like to check them out.
I kinda cheesed it with this one. Was running out of time so I didn't really detail the brass rings like I wanted to and ended up slapping a bunch of ink down and called it a day.

I did today's!
If I keep up with it it'll all be done on scrap paper with my ancient black micron 05 that lives in my purse
I'd love it if you took a look at my art and my PATREON!
I'm doing some of the prompts to start and then it'll probably be whatever I feel like as the month goes on.

next time I'll just wait til I'm home from work and not just phone posting

Shot on phone. These will be more about self improvement rather than trying to make nice finished things.
