Unplugged Enforcers

So, I'm considering signing up as an Enforcer. Questionnaire asks for requested department(s).

What are the different departments that Enforcers generally staff? I imagine Unplugged may have some different requirements than the other PAX events....

This is what we had at West:
    • Freeplay areas and tournaments (PC, console, tabletop, handheld, VR) - There may be further sub-departments within each area
    • Theaters, both Main and Satellite - This is mainly front-of-house work, all the tech stuff is handled by contractors
    • Expo Hall
    • Line Management
    • Line Entertainment
    • Registration
    • Info Booth - We know where that is (hopefully)
    • Spareboard - Basically the temp agency of departments
    • Merch Booth - Shirts, shirts, shirts shirt shirts
    • Special Rooms - Stuff like PAX Arena and some of the exhibitor rooms like Nintendo or Bioware
    • Stream Team - The people monitoring Twitch

There's a couple others departments, but they're small/invite-only/don't officially exist as far as the public is concerned.

For Unplugged, quite a few departments won't be there and the TT section will get a bit more diversified, for obvious reasons.

Is it PAX <insert nearest future PAX here> yet?

You can get a bit more insight into how the Tabletop operations are spreading out to cover the show by checking out the PAX Unplugged features page. Rest assured that if you apply and are accepted as an Enforcer, you will have the opportunity to make a more informed statement of preference. My assumption is that having it on the initial application just helps to ensure a diverse range of preferences are brought in as new Enforcers.
