Here's the thing... Butter is butter. I've used a lot of butter, other than apple butter, it's pretty much the same, just types of butter matter, salted or unsalted. Whipped or not. Even "fresh butter" isn't noticeably better.

I meant the type is what maters not the brand I think what I said was confusing... I prefer salted butter

I find fresh butter really is a bit better. Liv got one of these hipster things as a gift a few years back and makes butter from time to time and it's great:
For general use we just buy unsalted sweet cream butter from costco. I used to use Kerrygold for day to day stuff but just got lazy.
