I think I told the story about how, earlier this summer, maybe late June / early July, I grew my beard out.
I saw my nephew at that time, and he frowned and asked why I had "shaved a beard onto my face". It was clear he wasn't a fan.
So I shave it off 'cause why not, and the next few times I see him, I'm clean-shaven.
Then last week, I get into the car with him, beard fully grown in since the last time I saw him (I am a hirsute individual).
And I turned to him and apologized, saying "Hey buddy, I know you don't like Uncle Brad with a beard, but I wanted to grow it out for a bit and see what it looks like!"
And he just shrugged and said "It's okay, I think it's kinda a cool beard actually."
This inconsistent child!

He's a very fastidious child, a beard would drive him crazy. Grooming is very important to him, incredibly.

@bloodyroarxx , we gotta strategize what we're gonna watch while all our usual streamers are at Twitchcon for, like, a week. I think post-relationship blogs from all of my SOs would be pretty anti-climactic, for the most part.
Like, both the girls in high school were both pretty mutual but also a little acrimonious because we all thought we all wanted to bang each other's friends (which, of course we did, it was high school)
And then the woman I almost married, well ... we stayed in touch long after the breakup, so I know how that went.
Then there were a couple more short relationships that just sort of sputtered out and we basically ghosted each other, I can't imagine I left much of an impression either way!
And then Nargirl, who hit me over the head repeatedly with a heavy object last time we saw each other in person, so while I'm happy to see she's doing well (according to mutual friends, Facebook, her sister, etc), I doubt her blog about me would be terribly pleasant >_>
