I am riding the metro home from a date with the most insufferable woman ever. Details when I am home. But to put it nicely imagine talking to a physical personification of the worst part of [chat] with the white privilege understanding of social issues and the absolute belief structure of a super leftist.

Saints Row IV is an interesting game, but I'm not sure I'm into it. It seems kind of all over the place, between the super powers and the shooting and the vehicles and the open worldiness.
Imma keep playing though because my French-accented thicc protagonist lady is sexy af.
I enjoyed 3 a lot more. The super powers are fun, but it pushed a lot of the core gameplay of the series into the background.
kosh isn't gonna get tumblr doxed for his shitlording. he's not a shitty person EXCEPT THE DEEP BETRAYAL HE'S EXHIBITING BY NOT SHOWING ME THIS BLOG
I don't know, reputation defense isn't only for the corporations. he should vigorously pursue I positive image online! What if she gets crazy popular and Rich by making stuff up about him? No ex-girlfriend should profit from the experience of Jacob.
a girl i dated like 9 years ago made a post a few months after we broke up to her (public) livejournal about how in love she was, the perfect man, the first time she'd ever 'really' been in love etc. a dude she cheated on me with ;_; and the only thing she said about me was it was obvious i wasn't going to be a long term partner because i 'didn't understand or respect' her love for acting and theater.
hmmm
maybe
i'm willing to conditionally grant that point

As much as I love the mobility of the super sprint and super jump, I think they're the main culprit for why the game feels so unfocused gameplay-wise. Why do I need vehicles when it's so much faster and more convenient to run/jump/glide everywhere? They make me feel like I'm playing Prototype or Infamous or something, but then the combat centers around the shooting with only occasional usage of powers.
It's not a bad game, but it feels like a grab bag of cool shit that they just all shoved into one thing. I guess maybe that's the point?

Yeah it definitely feels like they smooshed Infamous and GTA together or something. I'm not sure it works all that well.

The woman I almost married loves musicals and live theater and she performed a few roles in the sixish years we were together
Then after we broke up she took up theatre as like her #1 passion outside of work and I was like "Damn, good for her, unshackled from me and free to do whatever she wants!"
Which isn't totally fair to me, but it was still nice to see
She's good people, anyone but me should totally put a ring on that!

Saint's Row 4 really does feel like a zany expansion pack for Saint's Row 3. Which makes sense, because that's what it originally was.
I loved both but I wound up putting much, much more time into 3 than 4.

There are some (side and main) quests that force you to use vehicles...
...but for navigating the open world, no you do not need to ever drive a vehicle.
every person who doesn't like an acquired taste always seems to think everyone who likes it is faking it. it should be an official fallacy.
