    I'd like to join.

Oh man, now I have to figure out...

    what I want for Christmas...

    dun dun dunnnnn

    About me
I'm a 28 year old whatever Computer Science student, I live in Montreal with my father and brother. I'm XL in shirt size. I don't have much space for figurines or the like. (I have 4 amiibos and that's enough. ) I like to manipulate things with my hands, though I am finding out that maybe miniature wargaming isn't for me? I mean, I like painting, and priming and assembling the minis, but I don't have a good container for them, and so taking them out to play is kind of uh, risky.

I have a gaming PC, laptop, 3ds and wii u, but I lack a proper mouse for the laptop. Well, the PC is gaming (has a decent everything except the GPU, which is a AMD R7 265), the laptop was supposed to be for school and dev stuff, but it's much more comfortable to do that on my PC. So now it's a "OldGames" laptop... without any peripherals. :\

I'm thinking about doing some streaming, or at least record some videos. I have a Logitech C920. I need a green screen. Although Maybe I should actually produce stuff before getting more things. But if someone could teach me how to use Cyberlink PowerDirector 14, which I have, that'd be swell.

Other than that, I draw using a wacom tablet with Manga Studio. I mostly use it for scribbling notes and ideas.

I'm a voracious reader, though these days I mostly read on the computer. Though I did kickstart (and received a paperback of) the Junior Scientist Power Hour by Abby Howard and Let's Speak English by Mary Cagle.
This is where my wishlist would go, I guess?
These are just suggestions. Feel free to ignore these things if they're too expensive
    • Comfortable wired mouse for using with my laptop.
    • Webcomic books of some kind (Hang around in the Webcomics thread, I'll make my tastes known)
    • Music! I like stuff like Equilibrium and Dimmu Borgir and Sabaton and Turisas and and and
    • Games! Check my steam wishlist! http://steamcommunity.com/id/Elaro/wishlist
    • Computer Parts! hard/solid-state drives, a good graphic card so I Can Play Total Warhams All Good Like
    • Warhams! Tyranids, Grey Knights, paintbrushes, a carrying case
    • Books! Preferably e-books! Of the educational variety!
    • I think I'm going overboard!
    • Oh well!

    HAIL SATAN, BITCHES!

Heyyyy oh glorious dark one. It’s been a while.

I’m still living in Singapore. Be mindful of this when it comes to shipping. Good news is if you have Amazon Prime, you can fidget with international shipping and eventually it becomes free (if you hit the sweet spot of things-to-weight, which is Obnoxious so maybe just don’t bother).

I have many varied interests, and am particularly good or pro-grade at almost none of them. I like renting a kayak and going out on the water on the weekends. I’ve practiced yoga for several years but have fallen out of regular practice due to Singapore life costs and stress. I cycle to work on a ding-ding pedal-pedal cruiser type bike, but I'm going to buy a good quality touring cycle in a couple of weeks, to prepare for a two-week cycling trip my best friend and I are taking in May. Yoga gear is always welcome. Bike or kayaking peripherals could be a good option, although I don’t know what kayaking peripherals you can give a person other than like, sunscreen. Please don’t buy me sunscreen, I have a ton.

My more sedentary interests are reading, playing video games and board games on occasion, and… uhh, reading I guess. I don’t watch TV really. I do watch movies sometimes – specifically old kung fu films, noir films, luchador flicks and b-movies, these days. I mostly read nonfiction about ocean/natural science, WWI history, art/design, neuroscience, death and murder, and sociological topics (apart from murder). I collect old weird cookbooks. I also collect regular cookbooks, because I like to cook and no one wants to eat spinach jell-o ring with rice and kidneys for some reason. Fiction-wise I tend toward the experimental or Serious Literature, with a healthy dash of love for noir and a secret addiction to popcorn reading. I prefer to choose books written by women, non-English-speakers, or people of color, because I’m an evil SJW and white men get enough attention already.

I have an enormous video game backlog to get through, on both my computer and my PS4. I don’t use my computer for gaming really anymore so there are some games that are in my Steam library that I’d sort of like to have on a console... I also own a Switch and am currently (very slowly) playing Breath of the Wild. My favourite board game is Betrayal at House on the Hill. I can’t fucking stand long-ass strategy games that don’t have a social element. I once was at a table at a restaurant with my friends and they were playing Progress: Evolution of Technology at the table. Don’t play board games at a restaurant! And especially don’t play them WHEN THEY’RE THE MOST BORING GAMES EVER.

I travel a lot both for fun and for work (by plane, because I live on an island and don't own a car), so travel-life-improving gifts are useful! I love music and have a record collection that’s currently scattered across the world (been really into afrobeat and boogaloo lately). I do papercrafts occasionally. I am desperately in need of plants and bedroom furnishings right now – my apartment has a lovely living room and kitchen and then the bedrooms are pathetic, so worst case scenario a gift card to a home goods store could significantly improve my life. I have a passing interest in makeup and fashion design. I have a dog named Haechi who is a Good Boy. Please don’t buy me t-shirts, I will not wear them.

You can ask Grey Ghost, Rorshach Kringle, Jennerose or Mysst for advice, probably, if'n you need to.

    NSFW Yes:
I think genitals are as funny as the next person, don't shy away from NC-17 content and also am an adult who occasionally has a healthy sex life/libido. I don't really want a stack of porn DVDs, though, so... yeah.

    It's Satan Season, motherfuckers!

And annual reminder: order through smile.amazon.com so we can throw money at charities!
Hello Satan! I'm a 29 year old almost-librarian who has yet to make good on his threat to move out of a shoebox, so big things are probably not the best idea (it is an enduring source of shame that I haven't been able to build my LEGO TIE fighter because of space reasons). I'm trying to find work in the public library sector but I'm having a rougher time because I know very little about programming for kids and YA; if you lurk in the job thread, you'll notice a couple other librarians and aspirants who may have book titles to share with you on that subject. I'm a voracious reader (I'd be a shit librarian if I wasn't), but my latest interest is in Irish history-- the only book I own about it is one about the Potato Famine so you've got a lot of room to work with there. I spend a lot of time in the Webcomic thread, but if you don't want to wade in there I'll spare you: my favorites are Octopus Pie, Kill Six Billion Demons, Johnny Wander (and Lucky Penny, same folks), and Stand Still, Stay Silent. I don't really have hobbies at the moment, which is pretty depressing to admit, but I enjoy photography and don't have the means to make mats for my own photos (not even one of those self healing mats, never mind a logan cutter).

If you're a crafty sort, bear in mind that I live in the tropics, so knit things will be appreciated for their aesthetic value rather than worn. I don't know where you'd be sending stuff from so I can't be sure baked goods would survive the journey. And so you don't have to squirm too badly because you drew something of a lurker, this is my Amazon wishlist. I'll be updating it as ideas pop into my head so take a look every so often. I do have a Steam account as well, but I have a bad track record playing games I receive as gifts so I may refrain from linking it. Hawaii can be a bit of a bitch to ship things to, so make allowances for time and expense (flat rate boxes are your friend). I'll also be at a conference from New Years Day to January 8th, so if something arrives during that time I won't be able to make an excited loot post until I'm home.

Hell yeah let's be some Satans this year.

    Dear Satan:
I really like pointless, cool/fun, goofy knicknacks. Some examples include my luchador bottle opener and my USS Enterprise sushi platter.
Do not bother buying any shirts for me as they never fit. I have a 39" torso and almost any mass-produced shirt is going to flash my hairy belly button at folk. Hat size is 7.5, shoe size is 14, pants is typically 40/32 though I'd have no idea why anyone would send me pants?
There aren't a lot of video games I want that I wouldn't just buy for myself, but cool/interesting peripherals are welcome. I have a PS4, Switch, WiiU and a PC.
To get an idea of me personality-wise, my favorite movies are, in order: Big Trouble in Little China, Jurassic Park, O Brother Where Art Thou, Terminator 2 and Mad Max: Fury Road.
I really enjoy board games but rarely have time to play them or people to play them with. I love eating food that's bad for me and figuring out ways to make it myself. Cool and/or useful kitchen gadgets are always welcome. I have a good set of knives, cutting boards, an air fryer, a crockpot, an induction cooktop and a cast iron skillet and little else.
This sounds like a lot of shit but I'm easily entertained and easy to shop for, really!

I love me a good Satan.

I always love this part of the forums. I've also always been pleasantly surprised by the generosity of the people involved. As far what I'm looking for, I'm pretty easy to please. I like comics, movies, video games, books, and art. I wear a size small. That's about it. Whatever you got headed towards me, that's just fine. I trust you, whoever you are. I'm in this for the surprise, more than anything. But, also, here's a link to my Amazon wishlist, just for the sake of redundancy.

I'm also currently unemployed, so if you've got any sweet leads on that front, that'd be real keen, too.

    Hello Satan

Here is my amazon wishlist http://a.co/gS9k8Og I will be updating it a bit over the next weekend and a bit to give you some better ideas. I do have a steam account but it's so chock full of games by now that it might be hard to find something I don't have, but just in case my name on there is jarofmoldymayo. I also have a switch now as well as my good old PS4. If you get my clothes I do wear a size 4x shirt so that might be a little tough, I do like and could use some more cool tees though as I'm down to like 3 good pocket tees but it's too much of a Me Uniform at this point. I also like coffee, and cooking and various kitcheny things. Oh and tabletop gaming stuff like dice or RPGs. I'm also a fan of movies from classics to 80s b horror stuff. If you do a home made treat or something I have shitty teeth so maybe no nuts if you could? It'd just make it easier to enjoy.

    Hail Satan.

I am a fella from Perth, Western Australia, I do a bit of gaming on an xbox and my 3ds (not a super amount though I am quite time poor), I'm really into board games, and a bit of D&D, and while I love climbing I've been a bit busy in the past year or so I haven't had the opportunity to get out and have fun. With board games Viv and I have an awful lot, we in fact, have a list, in case you are thinking of getting me one. And with D&D I am a complete sucker for cool customisation thingos and painting minis to make it look way cooler than they did before.

Speaking of painting things and the like. I like making things in general, but lack the consistency to say that I am good at it, or even if I am halfway ok at it.

If you are a creative type and would like to make anything or have anything local that is unique that would be dope as well.

If you want to know what to get you can ask the wife, or a few other west Australian forumers in the neighbourhood that you can find in the Australia thread.

If you are a foreign person, please keep in mind things like power plugs in Australia run off 240 Volts (such as do not feel pressure to buy me a switch, but those are the wrong plugs in the Wishlist), and sending unpackaged food is a big ol' no no. (sealed food is fine though). Also, please don't get me steam games (or PC games in general) as I probably will not play them.

I also have amazon Wishlist in my signature which I am constantly updating at the moment, some of these things are for me, and are expensive! Do not feel pressure to buy them! Feel free to be inspired by them though!

    My favorite time of year

    Hello Satan, my dear friend,
If you're looking for an easy task, then my amazon wishlist is full of things or suggestions of things I would love to have. It's pretty consistently updated.

My hobbies include creating art in various media, cartoons, reading, music, and learning to play ukulele and ocarina. I like dinosaurs, Rick and Morty, Pokemon, Batman, My Little Pony, and Steven Universe. I love to bake and cook in general, so cool kitchen stuff is always welcome.

I love video games- I have an XBone, 360, Wii, PS2, N64, 3DS/GBA, and my roommate has a PS4 I can use freely. My taste in games ranges around things like Tomb Raider, Zelda, Limbo, Child of Light, Castle Crashers, Mario, and Stick of Truth. Puzzles, RPGs, and adventures mostly, I like to character build, craft, and explore. There's a few movies/shows/games peppered in my list, they're usually the things I want most, DVD or blu-ray is fine. I love a good horror movie if you've got a favorite to share. I'm also clearly a fan of corgis, so of course I'll take dumb corgi stuff. The corgi in my signature will also take things because he thinks every box we get belongs to him now (thanks Bark Box).

Clothes on my wishlist will always have a size in the notes if you're the type to buy people clothes.

I have no food allergies if you want to bake me things! I like dark chocolate and mint, but I'm not a big fan toffee. Sweet or savory is fair game! I also like coffee, teas without licorice, and good beers (no IPA).

    Satan. Dear Satan.

    How the heck are ya?
If you like to bake, or have any favorite/regional foods or desserts you really enjoy, feel free. We both have a sweet tooth and no allergies. Chocolate chip cookies or snickerdoodles, anything with pretzels, brownies, breads, pizzelles... it's all good.

If you're more artistic/crafty, anything for our 8 month old son could be fun, especially Lions or anything Outer Space-ish. If you want to make clothes, shoot for like 12-18m in size, he's pretty tall. Or perhaps a blanket, which could last a lot longer.

Speaking of space, I just remembered those moons DaMoonRulz was gifting were pretty cool... and I think I added the right one??

Otherwise, Here's my wishlist. For now, I'm keeping an eye on everyone else's lists for more ideas.

    My Dark Lord
It has been a Hell of a year, hasn't it?

Sorry, I use humor as a coping mechanism. I hope you are well, my infernal benefactor.

Let me start things off easy, with my Amazon Wishlist. That wishlist is almost entirely full of books (physical only), along with a smattering of DVDs (specifically - I do not own a Blu-Ray player) and board games, because I have never gotten used to the idea of treating Amazon as more than a bookstore. If you want to understand it further, I have a rudimentary priority sorting which I recommend switching to, as it will tell you things I want the most off of it.

But do not feel beholden to that list! Here's the thing - that list can only cover the things that I know that I want. And what I really want is whatever weird shit you want to send me. If that list gives you ideas of things you think I might like, go for it. I'm especially up for artsy things, if you are an artist, and I'm up for whatever filth you may desire in the NSFW department, because why the hell not.

I can't eat seafood, in case you were planning on sending me a trout, and I'm not super into nuts or coconut. Or like, banana I guess? I'm constructing a pretty weird narrative here in order to get a box full of bananas and trout. But other food is probably a safe bet. I drink coffee (primarily) and tea (sometimes) and alcohol (constantly), and would definitely appreciate any of those being sent, especially if you have some local flavor or whatever you want to share with me.

Clothing is a fraught game, and in general I'd recommend you steer clear. I'm real weird shaped, being a skeleton man composed entirely of limbs, so these measurements are mostly estimates, but regardless, I tend to go with a men's small for t-shirts/sweaters, a 15/32 for dress shirts, 36R for jackets, 29/34 for pants, and a 7 1/4 for hats (I probably don't want you to get me a hat though). My overall fashion sense is white button-up shirts, gray unadorned v-necks, and black jeans. Often paired with a leather jacket in one of those colors, as well. I do also have a denim jacket that I am currently beating the shit out of, and if you wanted to send me a patch to add to that jacket I would iron that fucker right on (or sew it on, more likely, I don't want it to fall off).

As we are members of a forum that is largely devoted to the enjoyment of video games, I feel obligated to mention those. I don't have any sort of video game consoles, and my computer is a fairly lightweight laptop, so my video game diet is often fairly limited. I have a wishlist on Steam - username is Quetzi - if you want to check it on out.

That is, I believe, the majority of what I have to say. Maybe I'll add more, but probably not. I've done this in previous years, if you think those wishlists can be more helpful, but I'm pretty sure they won't be, because I copied and pasted a lot of this (including this warning right at the end)!

    Hail Satan,
    Straightzi

So if the signup deadline approaches and i haven't yet done so, someone badger me. Gonna try to get it done this weekend though.

Also, i haven't read anyone's list posts yet, but it could be useful to put food allergies, preferences, or dietary restrictions on there.

    You know.

    For reasons.

I am allergic to penicillin. Please do not send me mouldy Petri dishes.

Brolo, please don't match me with Perrsun. I was really hoping to get rid of these Petri dishes this holiday season.

    I PROMISE NOTHING

Sure, but I'm easy to shop for.

WAIT, let me amend that: I don't think you should send poop through the postal system!

It worked for Cards Against Humanity.

I'm very confused. There's no avatar for this poster. The user name is just a period and clicking on it takes me to my profile.

    Hello my dearest Deceptive Devil,

It's good to talk to you again. It certainly has been a year, hasn't it?

I know you've been busy, so in case you forgot, here's a bit of a refresher about me and the things I like!
    MY GEOGRAPHICAL PRESENCE:
I'm a small town boy from the Northern Territory of Australia. Please keep this in mind if you are from anywhere that is NOT Australia, as things from overseas often have a tendency to take forever to get here for some reason. Also, our quarantine restrictions are pretty damn strict here in Aus, so if you send non-commercial and/or non-sealed food over it's highly likely to get stuck in limbo forever.

    MY BODY:
I’m a 32 year old blond haired blue eyed dude. I’m about 5’7” and weigh about 155 pounds.

Clothing wise, I'm generally a small (sometimes xsmall) when it comes to shirts, although I sometimes get mediums if they are a particularly small medium. American sizes are a little weird for me, so if it helps at all, I bought some shirts from Gap last time I was in the US and found that xsmall fit me very nicely. I am quite fond of more fitting tees and slim long-sleeved shirts. I’m not too fussy about colours, though I'm rather partial to white, blues, light greys and softer reds. If I have designs on my shirts, I like them to be pretty minimalist and simple. I've had a resurgence of interest in geeky shirts lately, so feel free to go for something clever that you think I might like.

I’m always in the market for some decent sunglasses too. Mine seem to break constantly. I dig aviators.

My shoe size is 8-8.5 in Australian sizes.

    ELECTRONIC ENTERTAINMENT:
    I own a PS4, a Switch and a PC.

I have a pretty wide range of interests when it comes to videogames and I’m willing to try almost anything, with the only major exception being grindy and loot-heavy RPGs.
My Steam profile is in my signature and should hopefully give you a good idea of the sorts of things I’m into.
My Switch library is pretty dang small currently. At the time of posting this it currently consists of Mario Kart, Mario Odyssey and Stardew Valley.

    MY DIRTY HABITS:
I freakin' love artwork. Both looking at it and doing it myself. If you are creatively inclined and want to make something for your Satanee, I am ABSOLUTELY 100% UP FOR THIS AND WOULD LOVE IT SO MUCH. I cannot stress enough how much I love other people’s creations, no matter what form. The imagination is a wonderful beautiful thing. Drawings, knitting, pottery, writing, absolutely anything creative. I love it. Give it to me.

As I mentioned, I enjoy drawing too. I tend to work digitally, but I've been trying to practice with physical media more often lately. I'm definitely in the market for a new art tablet, but those things tend to cost a whole damn lot, so don't even worry about considering that route.

I love collecting and building gunpla. I’ll try to have most of the models and designs I’m interested in listed in my amazon wishlist. Amazon tends not to ship gunpla to my address, so it'll probably have to be sourced from somewhere closer to Aus I guess.

I enjoy board/group games, but my actual library is lacking and I'm pretty clueless about what's hot and what's not, so any additions would be welcome.

I work out more or less daily at the gym and try to go running when I can, so fitness related stuff would be great too. Also a decent protein powder is always appreciated. I currently order WPC proteins from ProteinAuthority.

    CHOONZ:
I really love music of all varieties, with a particular interest in jazz, blues, folk, classic rock and southern gothic. I’m always enthusiastic about discovering new stuff! Do you sing/play? Send me your stuff!

I also play bass guitar casually with friends.

    LITERATURE AND CAMIK BERKS:
Despite not having done much reading in the past few years, I actually do enjoy reading. I’m trying to make the time and effort to get back into a regular reading habit. I do most of my reading on my kindle when I can, if only for convenience.
This also applies to comics! I love comics but I’m often a bit out of the loop in regards to what’s the biz lately. If you feel like recommending me any, I would welcome it happily! I'm primarily a Batman fan from my youth, but I'm definitely open to anything.

THINGS TO PUT IN MY FACE:
    I. Freaking. Love. Chunky. KitKats.

I’m also open to trying any cool foodstuffs that may be unique to wherever you’re from, Satan. So feel free to send it my way! (As mentioned before, homemade stuff may have an issue getting to me.)

I'm not really much of a drinker, but I enjoy ciders.

    MEIN DEG:
I have a lovely black greyhound named Ori, so if you feel like sending her something then that’d be awesome.

Please note that my Amazon wishlist is not in any particular order of preference. I've just added stuff as I've seen or thought of it.

I don't know, that sounds like a lot of work for me. Tell you what. I'll send you a tablet or two of Benedryl, as well. Boom! Deadly allergies taken care of and I don't have to clean. Merry Christmas to one and all.

Gimme stuff. Please. And I don't just mean my Secret Satan.

    Fuck yeah Satans!

I love making stuff and learning new ways to make stuff. I play a lot of tabletop games, especially d&d, and most of my making stuff efforts goes toward making props and terrain and miniatures for d&d so finding me stuff to enable that particular addiction is my favorite, but I’m also super into books, records and cooking and art and toys. I am ok with NSFW stuff.

I’ve got a couple Amazon wishlists I maintain regularly: records, craft supplies and tools, pretty much everything else.

    I love you byebye
