The Official PA Warframe Player List!

This OP brought to you by a pitcher of Alaska Summer Ale and the bar on the M/V Taku where I wrote this.

What is Warframe?
Warframe is a free to play, 3rd person co-op shooter, developed by Digital Extremes on the Evolution Engine and is available for PC, Xbox One, and the PS4. In Warframe you play as a member of the Tenno, a group of highly skilled space ninjas armed with everything from swords and guns to magic like powers. The Tenno run an assortment of missions throughout the solar system that range from simple extermination missions to having to capture high value targets. You can play all of the missions alone, with your buddies, or with completely random pickup groups and they can be approached however you want. Whether you want to try and sneak through with stealth weaponry or just start setting the entire place on fire with your flamethrower Warframe has something for everyone’s play style!
Warframe is also big on customization. Both your weapons and your frames can be altered to have different properties by using the mods that you get from running missions. You can make your bow shoot exploding arrows or turn your frame into a power spamming artillery cannon.
Warframe had plans for cross-platform play between the PS4 and PC but due to the cert process taking so long, the PC version of the game is always ahead in terms of version number and whatnot so that won't be changing any time soon.
TLDR: It’s like Mass Effect 3’s multiplayer with a lot of the really stupid shit taken out and space ninja country gravy poured on.

The quick start guide for space ninjas that just want to go slit some throats right fucking now.
1.) Get Warframe installed via Steam or the PS Store or on the Xbox One
2.) Create an account
3.) After logging in with your minty fresh account you will play through a short tutorial and will need to select a starter frame. They break down as follows:
Excalibur – Excalibur is an all-around solid frame that focuses heavily on punching and shooting things in the face. His powers all revolve around getting in and kicking the shit out of the bad guys and in the case of Slash Dash, doing both at the same time. For a long time he was the top recommendation for newer players, but Mag’s buffs have made her a much more attractive choice. Regardless, he’s still one of the easiest frames to get into the game with thanks to his straightforward powers and great durability.
Volt - Volt has the power to wield and bend electricity. He is highly versatile, armed with powerful abilities that can damage enemies, provide cover and complement the ranged and melee combat of his cell. The electrical nature of his abilities make him highly effective against the Corpus, with their robots in particular. He is one of three starter options for new players. (this description stolen directly from the Warframe wiki)
Mag - A caster frame through and through, Mag is probably the funniest frame in the game to watch at work due to her Pull power ragdolling entire packs of enemies. While not an inherently durable frame hitpoint wise she can still give zero fucks about the opposition thanks to her ability to essentially Force Pull entire packs of bad guys to the ground and her ability to redirect shots being fired at her does a lot to keep her up and running. Mag is a very solid starter pick and her powers scale wonderfully well into the high level areas.
4.) The game will then direct you to the very first mission. Start tearing through Mercury and have fun!
5.) Buy the Braton (not the Mk.1, the other one) as soon as possible! The starter Mk.1 is a piece of crap that you will quickly outgrow. The regular Braton will serve you well for a while and can be easily purchased with a few credits.

1.) When you download Warframe (it's free!), you also download a patch automatically. After booting the title with the patch, then you download an update in-game (about 250MB) before you start to play. Occasionally, this third download (the update in-game) will hardlock your PS4. Fortunately, there is a download cache so you don't lose any progress, but when this occurs, you'll have to hold your power button for 30 seconds to power off your system. Don't pull your power cable unless there is no other alternative.
2.) PS Plus users can download a free Starter Pack (you can find this separately at the "PlayStation Store") which includes 100 Platinum, 50,000 credits, a few free Mods (Falcon Mod pack), and 3 day Affinity/Credit booster.
3.) There is currently a bug in which you cannot select a stack of more than 1 in your Inventory to sell. D'oh! You can sell a single blueprint just fine, but a stack of, say, 4 blueprints appears to not work. You can press L1 and R1 to change the stack size, but there is no way to select OK or Cancel.
4.) I have not figured out a way to get Party Chat to work with this game. If you are in a Party, you can't hear the in-game Group Chat, either.
5.) Crossplay with PC is not implemented yet, but is coming in the future.
6.) The in-game Friends list is separate from your PS Friends list, so you'll have to add your friends in-game manually. Presumably, this is because of the Crossplay functionality.
7.) To get party chat working: Open a party while the game is running and shut off the in-game chat in the options. Set the Chat Audio Priority to the Party in the Party screen.

The Space Knights of Arcadia – The official Penny Arcade PC clan!
The Space Knights Prime Trading Doc! A great list of who has what in the clan available for trading.
Joining a clan in Warframe grants access to the clan dojo. This is a user built base that functions as a physical hangout complete with dick around rooms like an obstacle course to practice your ninja flips in, a dueling room, and much more pertinent facilities like the research labs. Of everything you can build in the dojo the research labs are the most important. They unlock a huge array of weapons and Sentinels that are unavailable through normal means and require a communal effort via resource donation to acquire the blueprints for.
The Space Knights of Arcadia already have the majority of research complete (mostly because the old regulars for this game are insane) so joining up will grant you instantaneous access to all of these features! Joining is as simple as letting us know what your in-game name is in the thread, what system you’re playing on, and one of the veterans will grant you access. While there is decent in-game VOIP we still all hang out on Ventrilo. We may switch to the in-game depending on how Crossplay works out so that both PC and PS4 PA bros can enjoy Kashaar’s sultry German accent and my drunk dick jokes.

We Are Nice Guys – The official Penny Arcade PS4 clan!
For an invite to the shiny new PS4 PA clan, We Are Nice Guys, PM @furlion with your PSN/Warframe name. WANG has its dojo up and running so get out there and start researching more dakka! Note: Clan invites must be manually accepted/denied (options button on the main screen).

@Nightslyr‌ wanted me to let you all know:
I haven't played since late spring last year. I logged in for the last time around Thanksgiving to add someone to the clan, but it was full. I started a barracks in the dojo, but dunno if it's been completed. From what I can tell, clan WANG is essentially defunct.

That said, I did give most of the first 20-30 members full admin powers, so if someone else wants to take over, they likely can right away. I'm not sure if it's possible to actually transfer the clan leader title to another player, or if there are important mechanics that require the title, but I'll transfer it to whomever wants it if that is indeed the case. PM me @Nightslyr if you want the title. (Darmak says: Apparently furlion is now in charge of the PS4 clan, or at least is the one inviting peeps.)

The big list of shit this game doesn’t tell you about.
Ok, it’s not really all that big but there are some important bits of information this game does not tell you about that you’re going to want to know beforehand. The lack of under the hood information is my one big criticism about this game but it is being worked on a little bit and the Codex introduced in Update 11 has done a lot to alleviate this issue. However, there are some things not really well explained or even mentioned so this section is devoted to that information. This list will be constantly updated and if it needs something added to it let me know.
Damage 2.0
http://warframe.wikia.com/wiki/Damage_2.0
That link will tell you everything you need to know about the system and include charts for each faction.

Parkour 2.0
http://warframe.wikia.com/wiki/Maneuvers
This link will tell you about the new and improved parkour movement system, including slides, double jumps, bullet jumps, and bullet glides. Super useful stuff!

Grouping
Grouping itself is pretty straight forward but what's not mentioned about it is that you can invite someone to your session and they will be able to run missions you have unlocked but they don't. After the mission is completed that player will then have that mission unlocked and will then be able to start doing all the surrounding missions.

Archwing
Archwing is a fun game mode added way back in Update 15 that lets you basically strap a jetpack to your ass and fly around in space blowing shit up. It's pretty light on content but they've slowly added more to it since it's initial release. Here's a handy guide I found on reddit with a shitload of information for those of you that want to know more!
1de.gif

Blain put together a list of what major things were added and changed this year alone, 2017, which is awesome and also really helpful if anyone is a returning player and wants to know some of what's changed since they last played.

Odds and Ends

Hay, I reelly liek Naruto can I…
NO, GO AWAY!

Wait, where’s the technical support section!?
Because it’s never really been an issue with this game actually. It sounds like the PS4 version might have some peculiarities to it but that is way out of the realm of things I know anything about. As mentioned at the start of this I will need help getting something for the PS4 players together if needed. As far as the PC side of things go this game is actually really damn stable thanks to Digital Extreme’s using their own proprietary engine. Any oddities you run into are 99.999999999% of the time due to a bug we can’t do anything about on the client side of things but DE is very fast about fixing those. The only things worth noting are that you may want to turn off PhysX particles and Bloom since they tend to cause the screen to look like a New Year’s Day fireworks display which can get grating on a small screen, but that’s a matter of personal taste. But really, this game doesn’t have any real technical issues requiring a big ole write up for so that’s that.
If you are having technical issues do not hesitate to ask for help in the thread and if they ever do come up I will be sure to start listing them here and create a proper tech help section. Be sure to submit a ticket at https://support.warframe.com if you are having issues.

Is there a way to track alerts out of game?
Yes there is! Internet denizen King Taro put together a website based alert tracker: http://www.kingtaro.com/warframe/ This tracker will play a sound whenever a new alert goes up and it has the option to filter cash alerts out entirely. There is also a Facebook page, Twitter account, and Android app. Warframe Nexus is on iOS and Android platforms, and just recently got an update that not only lets you keep track of alerts, but lets you start and finish item builds and do various other things from your phone. The update is a bit rough and needs a bit more work but overall is pretty nice.

What is the Design Council?
For a long time Warframe was offering starter packs. The Master and Grand Master packs, however, came with access to what is known as the Design Council. These packs granted access to a forum in which ideas for new frames, new features, and so forth are bounced off the community for feedback. This group of players act essentially as a player based focus group for Digital Extremes to bounce upcoming features off of. For instance, Valkyr was originally presented to us as the Berserker with a very different power list than what she has now. The original concept art they showed us for her also had her a fair bit lither than what she is now. What originally started out as a request from the devs for a third power idea for her ended up as a 60 page discussion about how all four of her powers weren’t very good and how they could be improved. The result is the Valkyr we have now which is proving to be a ton of fun. Occasionally the devs will also give the Council a chance to design a frame or Sentinel that will then get put into the game (Nova and Carrier both came from these sort of sessions). The Design Council also has a dedicated in game chat room but it’s not all that different from the standard global chat though it does tend to be a fair bit more sane due to the aforementioned requirement of having purchased either the Master or Grandmaster packs so everyone tends to lean towards the “adults with lives” side of the demographic.
The devs do read the regular forums and interact with the community there (they even hang out in the game’s global chat regularly) so don’t think your opinion doesn’t matter just because you aren’t in the Council! Warframe is a very community orientedgame and the level of attention everyone gets from DE is one of the things that makes this game as great as it is. There is talk of allowing ways for people to join the Design Council now that the original packs are gone, DE is just trying to figure out a good and fair way to do it that doesn’t result in the Council getting a little too crowded.

Didn’t Digital Extremes make Dark Sector?
Yes they did and that game was originally supposed to be Warframe before, in the grand tradition of the industry, the publishers deemed it “too risky” and completely altered the design of the game. The original trailer for the game looked almost exactly like what we have now. The “hero” of Dark Sector has the last name of Tenno and once he is fully powered up ends up running around in armor that looks a lot like Warframe’s Excalibur frame. The Infested infection is a huge part of the story and even the Lotus’s symbol appears in game. Dark Sector has been confirmed to be part of the overall Warframe story so if you enjoy Warframe a lot it’s recommended to go pick up Dark Sector off Steam or wherever console guys get their 360 and PS3 games from. It’s pretty cheap and fun to play from the angle of seeing how it evolved into Warframe and because it serves as a big chunk of the lore of Warframe. You basically get to be the original Tenno though do be warned, playing Dark Sector will leave you even more curious about wtf is going on in Warframe but discovering the history of everything in this game is proving to be a pretty fun aspect unto itself.
Dark Sector is definitely a bit rough around the edges but dismembering people with the glaive never really gets old. It should run on basically anything these days so give it a go! I hope that Digital Extremes sent a letter back to their old publisher that simply said I TOLD YOU SO with a picture of the devs rolling around on hundred dollar bills, hookers, and blow.

If anyone wants to read up more on the game, here's a link to the Warframe Wiki. Like most other wikis it's kept reasonably up to date and is full of useful information for new and old players alike.

Look, a new video in this OP! It's a surprisingly funny and accurate representation of a new player's first 100 days in Warframe.

Did they ever decide what to do about all the eximus adaptors they gave out by accident? I mean surely if everyone watching got 30 of the things they can hand out an alert or invasion for the rest of us? Not that I really need one, but something about warframe really brings out the hoarder.

As far as I know they aren't doing anything about it. Just a big, "whoops!" and on with things. I'd be willing to bet that Reb got a loooot of shit from her coworkers for that mistake though, as that's a lot of potential missed sales

So, over the weekend I finally burned through the quests I hadn't done / didn't exist back when I played years ago. Definitely an improvement to Warframe proper and I enjoyed Natah / The Second Dream.

Then I got to War Within and the Gambit one from Perrin Sequence. War Within was cool except the Queen bugged for me, twice, causing two separate resets. Once she finally started attacking me it was simple, but before then....oof. After the bugs, it was no choice to
tell Teshin to kill her ass dead.

The Gambit quest just went on too long, but it was cool.

So, the Riven reward, I was psyched. What would it decode into?! Slide kill 28 people while no one in your group goes down? Seemed simple enough and it was. Got a Snipetron mod...?

No idea what that is or if it's good, so okay I guess.

I then saw I had 19 hours left on the Sortie? And a buddy had also just finished The War Within..cool, lets go! Breezed through 2/3rds of it and then got to Lephantis.

Lephantis bugged on two separate runs. At that point, it was too late to keep going for me (stupid work), so just gave up. So that's a bummer. Hope this weeks sortie is better (it's weekly, right?).

    P.S. I love Mesa.
    Hello Tenno.

I arrive back from working TwitchCon, and in my fist I have plat, tons of plat to give away. It was hard won, because I had to steal it from the Warframe booth. There was much kicking, biting, throat punching, and eye gouging involved, but in the end I ran off like the Hamburglar with fist fulls of codes.

Okay, the truth is that I asked nicely for codes to bring back to the community, and they graciously provided a stack.

Here's the deal, I have enough plat to give 30 people 75 Platinum across all platforms. To clarify, that's 10 codes per platform, so 10 people on PC, 10 people on PS4, and 10 players on XBOne. So starting now, the next 30 people to ask for a code along with the platform they want it for will get PMed in a few days. Be sure to take note of how many people have asked for a code for each platform before you ask, I am giving out 10 for each platform, it can't be mixed and matched, because the codes are platform specific.

Okay, as far as I know I've sent out all the codes that were requested. If I missed anybody, please let me know.

Also, since more PC codes were requested than for other platforms, I still have 4 PS4 and 4 XBOne codes left.

If you still have a PS4 one, I'd take one with gratitude. I didn't chime in earlier as I haven't been around for long after a long break from PA, but if you still have 'em....

Anyone have advice as to the most fundamental things that help push you to feeling comfortable in Lvl 40+ content?

I feel like I have a reasonable grasp of most of the game's mechanics, but working through Sedna/Mot Sector Void has demonstrated that my go-to "powerful loadout" isn't really up to snuff, though I can still struggle through and complete missions. Is it largely a matter of putting greater consideration on what factions you're going against and choosing the appropriate weaponry? Or do I kinda need to just grind out sweet mods in Lua?

    What frames are you using?

I love Mesa and have forma'd her a few times. She is amazing at gunning down enemies that shoot back as she is pretty much invulnerable to opposing projectiles if built properly so she can have her buff up, but she gets murdered if someone melees her....but my buddy runs Nova Prime and slows them down if it's something melee heavy like Infested.

And I'm still a newbie, but as I rarely see anyone mention her, I'm sure there's even better Frames than her....so look at your Frames strengths?

I think it's mostly a matter of having fully leveled (or nearly so) mods, knowing which ones to use, and using weapons that are powerful. Like yeah, you can use most any weapon in the game and still be able to complete the missions, but with certain ones it's not going to be easy. Like I love the Tiberon but I know that even with maxed mods and a riven it's going to struggle in higher level content. I'll still bring it sometimes just because I really like it, but I know going in that it'll be more difficult because of that. Using something like the Synoid Gammacor, on the other hand, means that the mission will be much easier because it's just so damn powerful (I used it yesterday for the first time in awhile actually, and I'd forgotten how good it is)

edit: a big part of knowing what mods to use is to mod your weapons and frames to make them better at what they do, instead of trying to shore up any deficiencies. If a frame has low shields, don't bother trying to bring them up. Instead, increase it's health. If a weapon has low crit, don't bother trying to increase that and instead incrase it's damage/status/rate of fire/etc. If a frame or weapon is kind of equal across the board then you have more leeway with build options, but mostly it seems to me that specializing tends to get the most done.

That 100 days of Warframe is gold.

I unlocked Oberon and Jat Kittag last night. Oberon seems alright but it's a tough adjustment coming from Rhino. Also, when I made my Rhino it must have been some time during the steam event because he's the Rubedo plated version and he looks badass. Meanwhile, Oberon looks like a skinny armed idiot.

Jat Kittag is a pretty cool hammer though. It's effective at smashing moops. Although this morning I happened upon a Nikana stance mod, so now I'm torn about which weapon to use. I'd say right now I'm kind of miring around the level 35ish levels. Higher than level 35 and it starts to get kind of tough, I can't quite seem to figure out the mods or builds people are using to just mow fools down like they're nothing.

    I currently have:

    1. Frost Prime (w/Reactor + Maxed Physique, no Forma)
    2. Mag
    3. Rhino
    4. Nyx
    5. Oberon
    6. Limbo

So Frosty P is my go-to, with all of the core ability mods maxed (Flow/Intensify/Stretch), along with Power Drift in the Exilus slot, and the rest focused on survivability (Armored Agility, Vitality, Steel Fiber). I guess I'm forgetting two slots, but whatever, you get the picture.

I have a Five-Forma Braton Prime as my primary, setup for Corrosive & Blast, with Lvl. 7 Serration and maxed Multishot.

I currently have no real Secondary, just a Gammacor.

And then a Scindo Prime setup for massive Slash + Gas, which is clearly ill-suited to dealing with high-level Grineer and Corpus.

What Darkmak said, by the time you're hitting that content you probably want to have all your standard weapon damage mods up to 8/10 (Serration etc)

How far along is your MR? That'll dictate what sort of weaponry you have access to.

As far as weapons go, you can't really go wrong with shotguns for raw damage. The Hek is super powerful and only requires MR4, the Sancti Tigris and Vaykor Hek need MR12. More importantly all are incredibly satisfying to shoot and just watch enemies rag doll into the walls.

What sort of Warframes are you working with?

Also we were trying to figure out which way to prioritize: Leveling up Syndicates, that start requiring pretty rare/expensive components (catalysts etc) or holding on leveling the syndicate and putting those resources into a weapon/frame initially?

Not sure if it works out the same (just different order) or if there is a preferred way to go about it...That Scattered Justice Mod looks...tasty.

It might be worth looking into some more specialised frames, now you have a good sized collection.

Ivara has the advantage of teaching you the layouts and mechanics of spy missions and her ability to fire while in stealth is super powerful. You can cruise through a lot of content with her. Loki is better for speed running, Ivara has a wider array of options.

Frost is great for holding points but not especially tanky himself and as you start hitting the late game content that you are Rhino recedes a bit from being indestructible to being more of a tanky support class. Maybe look into acquiring Nidus, Inaros, Wukong, Atlas or Chroma if you want to have something that can absorb ludicrous amounts of damage.

For solo content if you don't want one of the above tanks, Nekros, Mesa or Zephyr. Nekros' clone army soaks damage well and gives the enemy more targets, Mesa's Shatter Shield and Shooting Gallery enable her to shrug off enormous amounts of damage and while Zephyr has low armour she has massive base health and shields (450 each at max rank) and with her Turbulence mod is able to ignore incoming fire almost completely.

  • metaghostmetaghost An intriguing odor A delicate touchRegistered User regular
Yeah, I've got Nekros Prime in the oven, on step two of Inaros (Railgun Moa Edition), and need Volt Neuroptics and Saryn Systems for Chroma. Haven't finished War Within yet, so I think Nidus + Atlas are gated at the moment.

    Definitely excited to learn Nekros.

And then a Scindo Prime setup for massive Slash + Gas, which is clearly ill-suited to dealing with high-level Grineer and Corpus.

Try and finish your serration, that will be a noticeable improvement in damage. Of those frames Rhino with stomp, Nyx with Chaos, and Limbo with stasis are all pretty decent cc frames. Try going that route instead of focusing on using their abilities to kill. Like a max range chaos can buy you a fair amount of time, just don't expect the enemies to actually kill each other.

I wouldn't worry too much about getting Serration past rank 8, they become incredibly expensive once they go past there, 1.5 million credits for the last two ranks alone before taking Endo into account.

The only reason I have maxed out Serration, Hornet strike and some prime mods is Legendary Cores.

There's no point putting in the resources to max out high rank mods any other way.

When the game gives you a month straight of Ayatan Statues from the Sortie, boy howdy do you have a reason. Unless you like encrusting the inside of your lander like a hermit crab. I may or may not have done this.

I've gotten one L-Core in two years of playing. I've gotten more Ayatan Statues and 4k Endo rewards than I care to remember.

That works too. I got a couple of L-cores off the Steel Charge experiment back in the day and has actually been lucky with sorties.

You know, I don't really fashionframe much. Basically picking a slightly different colour scheme that I feel fits a frame's theme is about as far as I go, and even on that I'm falling prey to "black/gold with one or two minor highlights" for many of my Primes. Similarly, I'd gotten into using the same Asa Phased Syandana for allll of my frames, kind of liking the consistency, and also that it was an item I actually got during a Steam event back when they did those during sales.

But it also means collecting various cosmetic bits and never using them, which is kind of a waste. So instead, I decided that my most played frames will each get their own, with the Asa Phased remaining the 'starter' Syandana until a frame sees enough time/usage to warrant getting one of their own.

This MAY or may not also be tied into recently splurging and snagging both Halloween syandana packs, the Ember and Nekros skin packs, and the Pyra syandana I've had an eye on for a while.

... there was plat burning a hole in my account and had been for quite some time.

So far, I think 6 frames have their own, out of the 19 syandanas in the collection (well, 18 plus the 'starter' Asa Phased that is).

In retrospect, all of my frames use the Pakal armour too, but I just snagged a bunch of it from the Tennocon relay, maybe it's time to see if I have enough sets to start setting up commonly used frames with unique armour too.

There's no way falling down this particular rabbit hole could possibly go wrong. >.>

Though between all those purchases and likely snagging another credit booster in the next day or two, I should probably go over my assorted prime bits collecting dust and hit up the marketplace. Still sitting on a fine plat pile following my last 75% off coupon, but you never know when the next one will land, or the next thing that needs a couple hundred plat thrown at it (like Gara, because fuck that grind, I gave it a good faith effort and just can't take running the lowest bounty again and again and again).

No frames are a waste, they're all just fine. Some are better than others are certain things, but you can have fun with any of them. Same goes for weapons, though there's a much wider range of usefulness for those

    Agreed.

Wukong is kind of a one-trick pony, but his one trick is to never die, so it's a really good trick.
Zephyr was the queen of flight, before Titania came along. She's still really good for fast flying, and she's got a personal shield power with an augment that makes projectiles (I'm looking at you, Arca Plasmor) kinda dumb.
Nezha is Rhino Lite, almost literally. His powers are a pretty close mimic, but his run/slide speed is leaps and bounds faster. Good for when you want a 80% of a Rhino, and not plod along.

Reaper and Orthos Prime are both good times. The Prova....well, they can't all be winners. At least it gets you MR.

I wouldn't say that any frames are outright wasted, but there is a lot of overlap in what many of them do, so while there's certainly an element of tailoring ones frame/weapon/companion choices to their playstyle, unless one is a completionist it's not necessarily vital to get every last single one, aside from being a good source of Mastery Rank, and having variety/versatility available. Especially once one gets into Forma'ing a few a couple of times, which isn't a Herculean effort by any account (especially while I imagine many of us are rocking double affinity boosters from the Twitch promotion), but personally I find there's a point where I have half a dozen or so set up nicely to cover the tasks I require of them.

Offhand, having an AOE damage frame for trivializing content (Ember, Saryn, Banshee, etc), a tough tanky frame for survivability (Rhino (though this has limits), Valkyr, Wukong, etc), a stealthy frame (Loki, Ivara) goes a long way. Add in a support or two (Nekros for farming, Nova for those times you want to speed things up or slow them down) and most of those roles are good in said half dozen.

Now, as I said, I've got them all at this point. I totally get why people want to have a wide array to play with, try things out, mix and match passives or abilities and mods in ways that are interesting and/or broken, and it is nice to find, say, a Riven that requires doing X that you wouldn't normally do, and then realizing that you already have a frame built and max'd out to play with (example; I don't really use Zephyr for anything, but it was pretty damned useful for playing with to unlock a few "while gliding" rivens).

Hell, even some less beloved frames are getting new life. As someone who was behind the curve on unlocking the Plains Archwing (and is kind of stingy with using them, as I don't find fishing fun enough to want to do regularly just to run bounties), having a Volt (a frame I've seen get a lot of shit over the years) just to run at light speed from objective to objective was nice. Kind of tempting to bring mine out of storage, though I really like having Ember around with a long range weapon (Soma Prime currently), as a mix of "you're probably dead for sharing the same area code as me, and anything further out or flying around generally dies swiftly enough unless I'm on one of the hardest levels of Bounty".

I've had my Saryn focused for maxing spores (max range high power neg efficiency) which, while amazing for endless missions, not so much for anything else, and I'm not sure if I know how to play her otherwise.

Nova prime is my go to for most content. With my Tigris prime I can fully charge antimatter drop for around 200k damage almost instantly. Molecular prime gives me a huge slow plus double damage. And you can use the worm holes to bypass a lot of security traps in spy missions. Plus she looks really cool.
