I think you don't have to declare to use flanking manuever before a roll? So you could have used it on your 2nd attack on the barbs to reroll those two 1s.

@stever777 I think Phyphor has the option to reroll the 2nd attack with flanking maneuver? It seems he thinks he had to use it up simple declaring he might use it pre-roll the first attack but I don't think that's the case.
