How do you wash your hands?

I thought everyone rinsed their hands and then lathered up but it has come to my attention that some people apply soap to their dry hands and then water.

I just use water most of the time as I avoid anti-bacterial soaps. Though I wash my hands quite often.

I definitely judge people in the bathroom when they don't wash their hands as thoroughly as I do

When it's late at night and I'm tired, I occasionally lose my mind and put soap on first.

It feels horrible. I end up rinsing it off, then going back to lathering and final rinsing.

What if you don't involve your hands in the process?

    Yes.

If I'm at work, I wash before I pee and again after I pee. And I refuse to shake hands with anyone at work because I have heard people, from within the confines of a stall, finish their business and then just leave the washroom. Since I don't know who this filthy person is, I can't trust anyone at work.

Also "not involving your hands" makes me think you just stand back from the urinal with your hands triumphantly on your hips and a smug grin on your face.

well you claimed to not touch your dick, or any surface. So either you're hanging your dick out of your pants with no manual guidance
or you're hovering over the seat

both of which are pretty unhygienic imo

    the real question is time

who does a rinse soap rib rinse in less than 10 seconds

who sticks around for a solid 25 seconds really getting in there

who is actively washing their hands now

I once saw a grown man go pants all the way down and I just turned around and walked out of the bathroom

The fly situation will depend on the pants. Some manufacturers think it's a great idea to use tons of hard to undo buttons on the fly

Routine stuff, though I get the point that "you're not really clean without it being 2 minutes with hot water," or whatever, I tend to be done fairly quickly.

If I know my hands were in something gross / sticky? I'm there 'til it's all gone and then some.

Soap, then a little water, then lather. Then rinse.
My daughter has a song she learned at school, and I once forgot the words and messed it up. So now she insists that I sing it wrong, correct myself, and sing the correct song every time she washes her hands.
