Keep the inspiration flowin'. I love the Cthulhu lookin' dude. I prefer your pencils much more than your digital stuff. (not that you're digital stuff is bad it just doesn't have the same character)
I think to make the mist/fog more realistic (next time), it would be a good idea to add "layers" of translucent color, rather than use a soft round brush once-over, as it looks you did. It seems hastily done, and the use of pure white for all the mist doesn't help the give it any depth or feeling or mood, etc.
I like the atmospheric effect you have on the background-spikes on the creature, though. Well done for that
There's a couple things I've noticed since I posted it that I might give a another one-over. I think I'm gonna take another stab at the fog, as it was admittedly done in haste I spent so much time on the creature though it seems like a crime to botch the fog up so I shall try to remedy.
I must say Scosglen, I like the versatility in what you can draw. And not only that, you can draw all of them well, from landscape to figures, to your "monsters". hehe :oops:
