I'm on mobile right now and can't check easily, so conditional order: if there's a GOO left in the battle location still, summon Wendigo there (unless whoever's GOO it is promises not to capture a wayward cold Cultist?). If no GOO, summon Cultist. Via Cannibalism.
I'd expected there to be more combat, hence taking Cannibalism early. #LearningExperience
jesus, I hate tcho tcho. nothing against saurfang for playing it correctly, but its just awful to fight against. you literally fight it to keep it from winning, not for the potential to gain anything from it. you can't fight it for the prospect of gaining power from undefended cultists because its a waste of power to capture them. they have the potential to out sleep, sleeper by just sacking high priests if needed. A GOO that costs 0 to bring back next turn. The fact it only needs to hold 3 portals and can win in 3 turns...
No offense taken! I still think these guys are a bit too strong, but in my opinion it's all about the point earning potential. The high priests are nice but they're just a means to an end; Tcho Tcho just doesn't have a ton of tricks or angles of play that I've seen.
Undimensionated. 2->0. Everything disappear from Scandinavia and reappear in Europe. Everything but an undead disappear from South America East and reappear in Bohemia.
@Daemonis next. Also, if I get my 3 power, I'll immediately give you 3 doom. That deal might be off the table after the next doom phase. @Mordenthral I have 5 elder sign, not 4. That don't change that I'm dead last, and Tcho-Tcho is winning...
We shoud have alternated but for the sake of expediture, I'll use my last 3 power to:
1 recruit cultist in Europe;
2 Desacrate Bohemia, gaining an elder sign and a Byakhee there;
3 Screaming dead to Scandinavia all the undead merry band.
Map updated. @mindflare77 is starting player and will declare play direction (24 hours to declare popping a HP to change starting player.) Otherwise, go around in order and declare Rituals or not + Sycophancy decisions for TT and SL
To re-iterate, Sycophancy is the thing where you choose to take 1 or 2 less Doom (in this case) or give TT and/or SL extra Doom.
The Omega rulebook says this about Neutral Spellbooks:
A Neutral Spellbook counts as one of your 6 Spellbooks on your Faction Card for purposes of
Unlimited Battle, winning the game, and any other rules or abilities that reference Spellbooks on your Faction Card (such as Nyarlathotep’s Combat rating, or the Moonbeasts’ ability for example).
Nyarlathotep's combat power specifies "Faction" Spellbooks.
As a result, I believe that after you select a Neutral Spellbook and put it on your faction sheet it becomes a Faction Spellbook. So this would not prevent Windwalker from getting his Spellbook, and would also still count towards Nyarlathotep's combat strength as listed in the rulebook.
Also, hold up @Mordenthral ... I'm gonna Perform a Mao Ceremony so Mindflare77 is not the starting player.
Sacrifice 2 cultists in the Indian Ocean. Ancients have been boosted to 17 power. *I* am the starting player this Turn.

Nyarlathotep specifies Faction Spellbooks for combat value. No dice for Neutrals.

And yeah, Black Goat is next.

Also, @Mordenthral, I think I should have a Wendigo in Europe.

As long as you remember, sure!

For dead last, it's a tie between me and Black Goat.
Black goat will either take his last book or a lot of power base with the power he has left, but you are actually in a worse position than mine...

6>5 power
@jakobagger has 5 Power to spend
Capture gate-controlling cultist in Arabia. (4>3)
Summon acolyte to control gate in Arabia (3>2)
Summon Funghi in Arabia (2>1)
Recruit Acolyte in West Africa (1>0)
PSN/Steam: mindflare77
It costs a Power to capture a Cultist. Your math is off @jakobagger
make him spend some HP to get some power back. or just hurt him for next turn.
edit** no wait, not enough fungi atm. carry on.
