Sweet tea is poison and kiiiiinda tastes like it too.
But I drink bubble tea, or whatever the kids are calling it these days, so I’m not exactly in a position to judge.
I take my bubble tea unsweetened.
The pearls are still sweet, so it's not sugarless, but it's much more refreshing.
I usually get the smallest amount of sugar they can give me, but it needs just a little something to really sing. Unsweetened tastes too much like just straight up green tea, and then I just get sad I didn’t get plain green tea.
Just logged on to my OKCupid account for the first time in ages, to see if it needed to be destroyed before my real name gets attached to it. The me that answered all these questions back whenever I registered was a totally unrecognizable person. Even though I consider it all largely positive change, It's kind of frightening how much of it there's been in such a short time, kind of undermines my sense of self.
Anyway, I think I'm just going to kill the account and start over somewhere else. What OKCupid is doing is unsafe for a lot of their users, and even if I could personally weather that storm easily enough, I'd rather send them a message that they've fucked up.

The heat in our house was busted for like a week just before Xmas, so along with space heaters I also bought an electric blanket.

The heater broke in my first apartment, the land lord was a shitty hypocritical Christian slum lord, it took him weeks to fix it himself because he was too cheap to hire anyone to do it.
I did end up not paying rent that month and he did give us a couple of electric space heaters
But they were old and and you can't leave those on when you leave and I had a dog and I felt really terrible for him
He would burrow into a huge pile of blankets and basically hibernate
In love related news, I was actually feeling like I had finally gotten over my abusive ex these past few weeks. Less feeling general anxious about the possibility of seeing her or having to deal with her in a professional setting.
and then last night i had a weird dream where part of it was her getting back in touch and me suddenly becoming emotionally dependent again.
just wanna carve this garbage brain of mine out with a spoon.

Electric Blanket is great when you have a mild fever and are in the chills phase.
Our boiler was bust over Christmas and has only just been brought back to life today
The electric blanket made getting into bed super easy when our bedroom hit 10C and out again super difficult
Until you turn it up to max by mistake and end up burning your bottom
My heat is off right now and has been for two days, my electric blanket is making it bearable
