    What's that face Seventeen is making in frame 4? It looks an awful lot like 'I just ate some decorations'-face to me. Also, I'm totally going to ignore all the other emotions this silly webcomic makes me feel, lalalalalalalalalalalala

    We’ve just been guessing based upon appearance and facial. This is the first time they’ve actually mentioned his age.

    Maybe it's night time, or the fact that he's been crying or something but has anyone noticed that Mal seems older suddenly?

    Notice the dots are missing from his cheeks. I think Katie and Adam made the intentional design decision to remove those innocent/child-like marks from him as he transitions into accepting loss and growing because of it.

    It's subtle, and maybe I'm reading too much into it...but I think they're too good at what they do to accidentally do this. ;)

    i got confused what you meant by dots xD
    he's missing his blush in other night time strips, so i don't think it has to do with growing up
    unless they show him during the day and they're still missing :D

    you both have build a beautiful universe. A universe only you know the rules too. I hope we finally learn a tiny bit (I don't want to know everything, that is like reading the last page of the book first (people do this, you know)) on how your universe ticks.

    I’ve been so into this story that I’ve completely forgot to look for the cats, but I went back and found them!

    This story is so bittersweet. I think that’s the term I want. It’s a happy sadness that comes with growth and change.

    What if Linus gets mad at Malachi for throwing him the party? Becomes what if Linus leaves forever and Malachi develops significantly as a character as a result?
    Just wow.
