In The video game "Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild", a sidequests involves an old man addicted to "rushrooms", which contain high amounts of stimulants. He asks you to gather a very large amount of those in exchange for a diamond.
After you complete the quest, he doesn't hand you the reward directly as most quest givers do, because that would be evidence of a transaction, I suppose.
When I was at the South African national police Christmas party, afterwards they gave the guests (all police and their partners) a heads up on where the roadblocks were, as to avoid them and not get ticketed.
At the time I thought that was a bit skeevy, but this is several steps beyond that. Well done, again.

Breath of the Wild is set in a sort of post-apocalyptic Hyrule. There is no king or ruling figurehead. The castle is engulfed by Ganon, the entire royal family is presumed dead and has been for about a hundred years and the few pockets of civilization are basically self-sufficient anyway.
