Depending on how long you want to keep your beard I'd recommend buying a good electric trimmer. I use a lithuim ion trimmer from Wahl with it's adjustable guide on the longest setting which keeps my beard about an inch long. My beard starts to get wavy if I let it go any longer, and I don't like how the waviness looks.
I you want to go longer then getting good with scissors or finding a good barber are going to be your best options.
Nothing against the model but man that looks waaay better on Aubrey.
Mainly because the jacket is actually fitted, I guess.
A lot of Fashion labels have their models just stand there like a sack of potatos looking bored and it always has me thinking that it would probably make the clothes look more apealling if they just used a mannequin instead of a real person when they have the person look as if they were dead or stoned out of their mind anyway.
Edit: I don't know how they do it but they always have at least one design choice I intensely dislike on their coats, I think all these Star Wars jackets would work better without any badging.

As someone who went down this rabbit hole Monday cause they watched Blade Runner 2049 again there is an entire industry of websites selling close facsimiles of jackets from movies.
Sadly I can't find a version of that Blade Runner coat that goes for it and uses magnetic closures like the movie. Probably wouldn't look good on my anyways so oh well.
Single hook-and-eye waist closure with additional magnets (screen accurate as shown)
Oh, that looks so much nicer than the first version they had. Also you can get it without the print on the back. Oh my. But 400€. Although shipping is free at least...
Seriously, guys, I'm currently simmering in a mixture of great desire for movie-mostly-accurate coats and rising resentment for every one of you posting links to things I cannot remotely afford. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

My wallet is happy that I'm not fashionable. And luckily I'm immune to most branding, even if it's brands I like.
If I'm paying more for a brand I expect that they keep their branding shit out of sight. I'm not paying extra for a nice thirt that then has a dump on the front. Or at least incorporate organically into the design of the clothes.

I'd seen that one, the belt closure for the face isn't screen accurate and ruins the sleek lines of the coat.
What's wrong with it? Looks really similar to the stills GIS shows
I was scrubbing through the movie and couldn't really tell that it used a belt for closure at all but looking at GIS again I found this promotional shot:
And if you look real close it seems I was wrong the actual coat does use some sort of belt. I don't know if the magnoli coat uses one that is too large or what but it's just the first thing I see in that closeup shot. I dunno.

There just aren't a lot of shots that show how it looks in the movie and the lighting and mist obscure it some more, so it doesn't stand out as much as in the shop picture, I think. I also think the movie version looks a bit more padded around the shoulders and maybe a bit stiffer/heavier in general but that might be the cinematography, too.

Sometimes I think about trying to be one of those women who come to work every day impeccably turned out, hair and nails done, makeup done, perfect clothes, shoes etc
And then I don’t want to wake up and end up at work with wet hair that dries into a curly mess, no makeup, whatever clothes felt the most like pajamas that I could get away with, no jewelry, trace evidence of having painted my nails six months ago, and scuffed boots. I guess this way it’s more high impact when I actually make an effort or go to events??

I have this
Panasonic ER-GB40 Wet and Dry, Hair and Beard Trimmer with 19 Adjustable Settings, Stainless Steel
It is very good as it lets me use shaving foam and an electric beard trimmer

A few of them would be even better if they didn't have the Star Wars logo embossed on them.
I actually don't have a reason not to get those Poe boots.
At this rate my entire wardrobe will have a rebel insignia on somewhere
Do you need a jacket to go with them?

Someone needs to make a more affordable version of Poe's Jacket from TLJ.
Also maybe one with working closures.

Fanjacket and Filmjacket also have versions of that jacket for slightly cheaper. Can't speak to the quality of any of them though.
