    Subnautica does look neat though.

    If I were a parent I wouldn't let my kids hang out with dirty xbox children. xbox was fine like 2 generations ago, but not anymore. Clearly their parents are making suboptimal life decisions :P

    Right? Looking up porn AND better gaming than any consoles, why would anyone buy consoles instead of a PC in the first place?

    Rocket League is also crossplatform play between XBone, Switch, and PC I believe. Not PS4 though, because Sony is a gloomy gus apparently. There was briefly Crossplatform play between XBone and PS4 for like a day in Fortnite Battle Royale once, but Epic shut it off after an XBone user noticed and posted it to social media.

    PC can play with PS4 and XBone, but not both at the same time. Not sure about switch. Quickchat is cross platform, but not text chat. Item trading is platform-locked.

    Cross-platform parties are supposed to happen this year!

    When I sat down to build myself a new rig last year, the PC manufacturers hadn't caught up on the price jumps yet, and it was seriously cheaper to buy a base computer from ibuypower with a 1080 in it than buy the exact same 1080 from Newegg. After spending the rest of my budget on more RAM, SSDs, and other stuff (because literally every other option is still cheaper to do myself) I ended up with a way better computer than I planned and a Steam Summer Sale shopping spree and I still spent less than I would have if I'd gone through with a ground-up build.

    I imagine if that's not already over it's only a matter of time before manufacturers run out of stock and have to buy at the new rate and that will be over, but at least I bought at the right time.

    I'm just glad to learn I'm not the only person out there with "ibuypower" on their case. It was a great deal, but I cringe a bit every time I look at the thing.

    I think the Pusheen mouse pad balances it out, though.

    There is cross-platform play between PS4 and PC. Just not between the different consoles.

    I didn't realize XI was on Xbox, though I never played it.
