I'm having a hard time trying to justify continuing to use Vegeta Blue. He is so fucking fun when people let me get away with shit, but he just seems...not very good. I thought I was onto something by using his rekka over people's heads to set up assist side switch confusion, but I've quickly realized that you can just super dash the shit out of that tactic. As usual it seems incredibly difficult to find tech for the character, as he evidently isn't very popular--the latest Rock the Dragon replay ft. him is a month old.
DBFZ might finally be the game that makes me Pick a Top Tier and just learn 16/get back into Goku Black/switch my SS Goku back to SS Vegeta
Maybe I should reinvestigate Hit

Well given the way the game works there are generally a lot of pretty good characters.
Like I'm just running Trunks/Cell/Goku cause I like those characters and outside of not having a super cheap assist(but some p good ones) that's a pretty good selection.
Well, it helps that the top tiers are fun to play, as opposed to merely strong. Hit in particular is incredibly unique, and I think probably the coolest character in the game just by the moves he has.

Those are 3 of the best characters/assists I can think of, in the cast. Especially Cell and Goku. SS Goku doesn't get enough shine for being able to punish literally any whiffed anything from anywhere on the screen.

Oh I never said they weren't really good.
Just in my mind the top tier assists are like...Vegeta, Kid Buu, A16, and Yamcha. But Beam assists are still really great for all around utility.
As for the characters themselves my point was moreso I think most characters fall on the more positive side of the tier list with a few outliers high or low.
Man looking at the tekken 7 season pass, that's not a very good deal. It says it gives you access to "3 content packs" which I'm assuming are tekken bowl, geese and noctis. With a side of some costume stuff.
If you only care about characters it's cheaper to just buy Geese and Noctis.
Messed around in training and arcade mode for Them's Fightin' Herds. It's pretty neat. Not sure if I'll get proper into it, but it'll be fun to try.
I wanted to try Paprika, but either my controller, my thumb, or my feeble brain is not equipped to properly control Charge characters. So I tried Oleander instead. I think I could learn to like that fighting style. Projectiles, variable traps, a gorram teleport at will, and a fairly neat way to build magic. Need to learn proper combos using Fred, though.
I love how the training mode has a Combo trial mode with a bunch of different tests.
