Running my own RPG questions?

Hi all! This will be my first PAX, and I'm wondering about some policies in the tabletop room. I am bringing a beta of my RPG that will be available to play. (I did not plan far enough ahead to get the game into the first look area for this convention.) I was wondering if there are policies in place for some of these things - I was not able to find a list of relevant policies online, but if I've missed them, a link would be appreciated.

- Is there a place to put announcements/materials for the games being run? For example, a board where "Play this game Friday at 2:00" flyer could be posted?
- Are marketing activities permitted in the free play area? Stuff like having a mailing list sign up, display signs, etc.
- Any other things I should know about tabletop at PAX in this context?

    Paging @Gundabad

Is it PAX <insert nearest future PAX here> yet?

There is no venue for posting announcement or advertisements. We do promote use of the twitter hashtag #ttlfg, short for "Tabletop - Looking for Group." We also have complimentary LFG cones you can take from Tabletop HQ and display on your table, in hopes of attracting players.

What you cannot do is essentially "set up shop" in Tabletop as a publisher/designer. No display signs. No aggressive marketing tactics.

Tabletop Freeplay tables are for the enjoyment of games of all sorts: board games or RPGs, published or unpublished, etc. If you find folks who want to play, and find a table to host your game, you can stay and play as long as you want. If you are obviously squatting a table for marketing purposes and are unable to get games going, you will be asked to move along, especially during peak hours when other attendees are already grouped up and just looking for an open table.

We do have a zone of tables that is specifically what you are looking for - hosting playtests of unpublished games, with relaxed rules on marketing and signage. That zone is facilitated by the UnPub organization on our behalf. I encourage you to look into it and see if they have an available timeslots at this late juncture. unpub.net/events/pax-east-4/. UnPub tables are free of charge, but are reserved on half-day basis.
