So it's not obvious but those green coins with the square hole in the middle are the 1 value coins.
Also don't forget the building bonus underneath the popularity track. A bonus at the end of the game for buildings on tunnel spaces (mines do not count as tunnels for this). This is not affected by popularity. You do not need to control the spaces, i.e. even your buildings that are occupied by an opponent count for this bonus.
Take 5th action.
Pay $2, Upgrade coin cube from Gain to the Enlist action, +1 Popularity.

Move action. Move 2 worker from village to tundra. Move Gunter to village and have event. Than, no matter what the event is take an upgrade action, gaining 1 gold and upgrading Bolster action (3rd power), reducing cost of deploying mech from 3 to 2.
Move:
Mech+Worker - mine to tunnel NW, then NE to oil field
Char&Bear - mine to tunnel far west of map, then SE to mountain with encounter (near the purple faction starting base). Gain $1 nope, wrong
Starting from a tunnel or from your gallery, unless the other tunnels are taken, you can reach 85% of the map with a single move action, once you have the +1 move mech.
The hero share all the bonuses of the mechs, including the combat ones.
Trade/Enlist
Pay $1 to Trade for a Food/Wood.
Then pay 2 Food to Enlist the Deploy Mech guy to start gaining 1 gold there, and take the 2 combat card once off bonus. Also gain $2
Net resource: +$1, food becomes wood on my mountain.
Should now have $3 idk why my mat had $3 already. @mindflare77

Is the produce one actually a third hex? If so, does that mean 4 with the mill?

Edit: Ah, I see where I mixed it up now. It's my Enlist that has no gold benefit. I had those two flipped in my head for some reason.

The $1 gained was from move action
I don’t gain $1. Need Togo back and make sure I didn’t claim $1 previously from a move too.
