I at one point, a couple weeks back, I was playing on one server or another, and my team lost the match. I was hiding in the supply bunker with another teammate, and I was the heavy. I decided to try one of the cheers, for the heck of it.
That second griefing video makes me hate valve even more than I already do.
Wait? What? Why?
It's has nothing to do with not liking their games. I just have a problem with being able to play anything to do with Source other than Day of Defeat Source and CS:S. Valve support gave me a list of things to do to fix my problem all of which I did. None helped me. I have reinstalled windows. That didn't fix it. I have went so far as to install Steam and my games on another computer and I still have the same problem.
Basically whenever I try to start HL2 or EP1 I get an error. It says "An application has made an attempt to load the C runtime library incorrectly." I emailed Valve support several weeks ago and got the list of things to try. Which as stated above did not work. My emails since then have received no reply. I want to get the Orange Box, but I don't want to not be able to play it. I'm not sure if I could play Portal or TF2. I just don't want to take that chance.

Are you friendly enough with anyone around here that they might be willing to share steam info? If so, you could always use their account, install the game on your machine, and see what happens.
Well being a spy takes alot of skill and a little bit of luck, since anyone can shoot to kill every teamate with no penalty.
If you are disguised and running the wrong way, or standing around and not shooting, or going anywhere close to an engys shit, or caught cloaking/decloaking - then you will have your shit ruined.
If you want to learn to do better you could probably try to go on a public server as they tend to have players that are a little less skilled then on the PA servers (though no always) and when you are dead and waiting to respawn, watch one of your teamates to see how he acts, and just generally try to be a sneaky motherfucker.
I used to play spy all the time when the game first started, but now that everyone and their mother does spychecks it can be frusterating as hell. Still, a good spy can be a major asset to any team so good luck!
