What bug is this?

So I noticed tiny little bloodstains on my sheets where my legs would be

Immediately thought "Bed Bugs" and started prepping to get everything washed, vacuumed, and ready for a pest control specialist

Then I caught this bug crawling on my bed and I'm not sure if it's a bed bug or something else?

That looks like a carpet beetle, but the little bloodstains on your sheets is a bit disconcerting. May still want to investigate that.

Googling has led me to believe that bed bugs would leave a darker, less reddish stain than what I have

    so that's a mystery

That's not a bed bug, that's a carpet beetle (maybe, most likely)

you may still have bed bugs

flip your mattress and look underneath after stripping sheets

No evidence under the mattress, around the edges or on/in the box spring

I'm still having Terminx come take a look

As for the bloodstains, I'll talk to a dermatologist and see if my skin is being weird I guess

Probably NOT bedbugs but it's good to get a professional opinion on both the bugs and the legs

If I was anywhere near you I could look for free but unless you live in Tucson AZ...

Alas, though, I'm the wrong kind of doctor for your legs

We haven't seen pics of Ringo. Could be a bug upset at the incursion of an opposing species.

Hardly. If there was an established bug colony here, I'd be hiring mercenaries, burning the resources, and screaming "Manifest Destiny!"

No this is clearly some rogue factor sneaking in the dead of night

I had to deal with bed bugs back in the day. They don't leave spots of blood, they leave little black/brownish ashy pellets that smear if you rub against it.

That’s a moth that’s been killed by a parasitic fungus!

Can’t provide any help on the moth ID with it so covered up, but what a cool find.
