It's that old concept art skin. Do the light bars on the pant legs actually go up and down with his music like an audio bar graph display?
Seems to be a leak - not confirmed yet, but that was my first question as well. Second question was "does it change the music?" Third question was when the fuck is Tracer getting a new skin it will be a year in June Papa Jeff Plz.
Can't you just be happy playing the best hero in the game?

All - literally, all Tracer's got is...
Her awesome Origins skin with the scarf and Aviators, which changes her voice lines.
Punk 1 and
Punk 2, both of which change her voice lines.
T. Racer and
Mach T, both of which change her voice lines.
The best Epic-quality skin in the game, Rose
A skintight runner's outfit with a Union Jack cape and
A color variant on her skintight runner's outfit, both of which change her voice lines.
Her adorable skin from Archives: Uprising last year with her jaunty little blue cap.
Jingle, one of the best Holiday-themed skins, which changes a ton of her voice lines and
Graffiti, the best skin in Overwatch.

I've put a moratorium on spending money on Overwatch, partly because I play it religiously to the point where I can get like 3/4s of the new content, but also because I play it religiously to the point where I only get like 3/4s of the content
Having to spend random chance money on top of the amount that my leisure time revolves around this game feels absurd

At that point you're paying for credits, and the exchange rate is not very good at all. I hope the public sentiment on loot boxes turns to the point that Blizzard is pressured to allow direct purchases.

See to me it's the opposite. Overwatch has ensured that my general gaming spending has taken a complete nosedive since I started playing it, so I never feel bad about blowing cash on loot boxes.
Haven't done it for the past several events, but even after probably spending $500 on loot boxes over the first year, it's a huge savings compared to what I was spending on Gaming the Hobby the year prior.

The Cadet Oxton skin for Tracer really bums me out because I looove the overall character skin, but the weapon reskin is easily my least favorite of hers, so I have absolutely no desire to use it ever. Kind of the opposite of her graffiti, where the character skin is only meh for me but the weapon skin is completely baller.
I'm not going to escalate this one to a full dispatch, but some random brainwaves on Ana (to be considered as mutually-exclusive modifications):
1) Raise the damage and healing applied per shot, but convert the effect to a non-stacking effect over time (the value "four seconds" keeps suggesting itself to me) similar to how Inspire works (meaning, hitting the same target applies a new version of the effect at maximum duration). This allows Ana to maintain healing on multiple targets by cycling through her targets, or apply some scary damage numbers to attackers without being so instantly lethal that they can't run for the health kits if they get tagged.
2) As a very specific interaction, enemies with the Biotic Grenade's anti-heal effect on them take increased damage from Ana's rifle shots. This raises Ana's threat level under ambush (since attackers are frequently caught in the radius when she uses the Biotic Grenade as an emergency health ration) but doesn't move the needle on her support capacities (which is where the biggest risk of making a Support unbalanced lies).
I still prefer my spring-boots idea to either of those.
My favorite musical instrument is the air-raid siren.

They can't allow direct purchase of gold because that would show what a terrible value paying for boxes is. And they can't take out the boxes since that's the only Skinner box to keep you playing.

I think the implication would be directly purchasing skins, a la how HotS used to work.

-it's the closest thing Tracer has to a "casual" clothes outfit (Hanzo's got f'ing 2?!)
-it's one of only two outfits that cover her legendary bum (the other being Jingle).

IMO a more ethical system is random loot boxes for playing, credits for cash purchases. I'm sure it's less profitable that way, that's why consumer behavior has to change.
Maybe I'm an outlier - hell, probably, if industry trends say anything - but I've spent hundreds of dollars on DotA and zero dollars on OW cosmetics.
It's not just because DotA starts free so I feel better paying for cosmetics. It's that in every 'treasure chest' you can see the range of skins that are available - usually 5-10 - and you are assured of getting one of every non-rare skin (rares being much rarer than OW rares) before you start to get duplicates. So I can do the maths in my head and accept the cost of a brute force purchase. Say I want two of these seven skins in this particular treasure and each of that treasure chest costs $2.50, so am I willing to spend $17.50 to get those two skins, y/n? I've spent hundreds of dollars saying yes to such propositions. It feels honest.
Meanwhile, paying money to get chests that could give you absolutely anything? Fuck that.

I blew like $150 on the first Summer Games in pursuit of the Union Jack skin (which I never really used lol), and after that it became my habit to buy a $50 pack of boxes every event (you couldn't buy event skins with in-game gold for the first summer event). I'd spend the first evening of the event at the gambling table, opening boxes and hoping for That One I Wanted. After the Summer Games, they made it so you could buy new skins straight-up with gold, and the gold I scored in all those boxes always let me snap up the skins/emotes/whatever I wanted before the end of the event.
I've been sitting on a bankroll of like 30,000 for the past year. I think it's down to 27,000 ish right now?
Point is, I've always seen the loot box purchase in OW more like some time at a craps table, only at the end of my time gambling I'll pretty much definitely have the gold to buy whatever I want. It's not a good deal - the amount of Gold you'll earn from 50 loot boxes, and the amount of skins/whatever that'll buy you, is not worth fifty bucks.
But I always get the stuff I want, every event, and I've never felt burned by the system. I'm very conscious of the fact that It Is Gambling. It's just also gambling that supports the further production of new content, seasonal events, skins and heroes, which I'm in favor of, and if it gets me Sleepwear Mei in the process all the better.
I have a horrifically addictive personality, and gambling has always seemed particularly dangerous to me, so I'm almost a bit proud that I don't feel compelled to Loot Box it up more, in Overwatch. When an event comes along with a buncha' skins I want, I may still drop $50 on boxes and enjoy some time at the craps table, but I haven't done that... since last year's Anniversary event, I think.
Papa Jeff Please.

I like winston's safari skin and i don't even have it, but he definitely could use some more variety. It would be nice to have options to buy clothing theme packs for characters. That would be something i'd put money down for. I would think it would be an easy money maker.

GENERAL UPDATES
General
Players can choose to “Avoid as Teammate” with a dropdown menu in the Career Profile
Developer Comments: The addition of the “Avoid as Teammate” option gives players the ability to craft their online gameplay experience. Up to two players can be selected with this feature. If you use the “Avoid as Teammate” option on a player, the matchmaker will no longer place you on a team with the avoided player for one week. To learn more about this feature, click here.
Report Menu
The “Poor Teamwork” dropdown menu option has been removed
The “Griefing” dropdown menu option has been renamed “Gameplay Sabotage”
Developer Comments: Due to player confusion about the most appropriate category to report players for poor or toxic gameplay, we are removing the Poor Teamwork option from the reporting system. Players should instead use the Gameplay Sabotage option when players actively harass or disrupt their own team with game mechanics or their actions. Players should not be reported simply for performing poorly, since everyone occasionally has a bad game.
Heroes
Sombra’s “Enemies Hacked” commendation card now also displays her offensive assists
Brigitte’s Golden Weapon variant will now also give her a golden shield
Changed Mercy’s Valkyrie voice line
HERO UPDATES
Brigitte
Barrier Shield
An option to “Toggle Barrier” has been added under Options > Controls > Brigitte
D.Va
Micro Missiles
Explosive damage reduced from 6 to 4
Boosters
Impact damage reduced from 25 to 10
Developer Comments: D.Va’s burst potential is a bit too high, so we’re reducing the damage of her Micro Missiles and Boosters impact. Prior to this change, each missile dealt 3 impact damage and 6 explosive damage. We’re reducing explosive damage from 6 to 4 but leaving the impact damage the same, the net result being 21% damage reduction.
McCree
Added additional voice lines for Lifeguard McCree
Mei
Endothermic Blaster
Now pierces through enemies
Developer Comments: This change helps Mei combat multiple targets that are clumped up and makes it easier for her to keep freezing a specific target if another enemy gets in the way. This change also helps her ultimate more consistently freeze enemy targets, especially if they are near each other. Note: While her shots now pierce enemies, they still do not pierce barriers such as Reinhardt’s shield.
Reaper
Death Blossom
Reloads Hellfire Shotguns after use
Wraith Form
Move speed bonus increased from 25% to 50%
You can now cancel the ability by pressing the Shift or Primary Fire hotkey
Developer Comments: These changes help Reaper use Wraith Form more consistently as an escape, but they also open up new options, such as chasing down key targets.
Moira
Biotic Grasp
Transparency increased the closer you are to a target
Coalescence
Now becomes more transparent the closer its visual effects are to a player’s camera
Fade
Transparency increased the closer you are to a target
Developer Comments: Due to issues with visibility, we have made most of Moira’s visual effects fade away the closer they are to the camera. We have also made modifications to Coalescence to greatly increase the ability for foes and allies alike to see through it when facing it.
Zenyatta
Orb of Destruction
Secondary fire rate of fire reduced by 15%
Developer Comments: Zenyatta is meant to be able to deal a lot of damage, especially for a support, but his alternate fire burst damage was a bit too high. This change keeps the overall damage the same but lowers the DPS slightly and makes it harder to hit multiple shots at very long ranges.

NEW EMOTES?! For who? What are they? TO GOOGLE!
Edit:
-.- poop.
The guy also has a separate video out with a run though for the event, so careful of spoilers
It better be packed with peanuts... I mean, content. As I plan to play for the rest of the day.
edit: Since I have a shitty memory, I have no memory of how large past event patches were. How big was the Lunar New Year event patch?
A new patch is now live on PC. Read below to learn more about the latest changes.
