    Gravity Rift is the 4th hazard tile. It can provide a 1 tile speed boost when moving through it, but has about a 1/3 chance of destroying the ship(s).

    With Hedgethorn signing up, I'll start Game 4 later tonight.

    @38thDoe still to place the first system.

    Also, when a player places an empty or red-bordered system, that player is free to provide a name to that system for reference on the map.

    EDIT: Starting up Game 4 made me realize that I forgot to randomize the player order for system placement in this game. Whoops. Given the amount of shuffling that will be done, I don't think it'll be a big deal. So we'll stick with the order we have now.

    Wait pause I realized I already fucked it up, the nebula at 2-4 is adjacent to the gravity rift at 1-2. Brody does it change your move if I switch that nebula to 2-6?

    I’d like to note that 3-8 and 3-9 should be some very good systems. Right now, E has nothing to start with. No help on the way to Mec Rex, no resources, influence, planets, tech specialties in their home slice. Since we’re building cooperatively, we should keep that in mind. We want a balanced map for everyone, so nobody starts the ga,e and immediately feels they’re behind the eight ball.

    Generally, ask yourself if you’d be okay playing from there (for the next couple of months), and then build out that way.

    Yeah, E is kind of really screwed atm. Remember that once placement is done, we go through picking a starting point or a race in the same order.
