Two moves to get next to him, 8 resources spent, so I can take two moves to grab more resources to have the ability to keep moving out of the mountains after I get in. Just won't go above 3 troop count.
I am now inundated with troops, but Im in a good position to do healing or send troops to others that need them. Ill have a better idea on what to do with that next turn.
Oh crap, I'm up next (was just looking to see who to ping :bigfrown: ).
Send 2 soldiers to Princess
Collect (+3 resources)
Move SW (5 3 resources spent)
Move NW (7 5 resources spent)
Gain Drake as Ally since I moved next to him

I had you starting your turn at 5 soldiers. You started with 3, then had 2 sent to you by the Hermit. Sending 2 to the princess, you have 3 left. So it should be 3 resources to move SW into the plains, then 5 to move into the mountains.
Enemies with red backgrounds are aggressive, and will begin moving towards the nearest kingdom hero 1 space per turn as soon as one enters within a 1 area range.
Blue background: defensive, will never move.
White: Will move only to attack adjacent kingdom hero.
Remember you must pause and draw a fate card the first time a character moves into the same area or adjacent space as an empire general (exceptions: Black Knight, King of the Abyss, Emperor).
Empire Generals Kingdom Heroes

Zyne: (Black Drake) May spend 3 supply to add 4 dice once per battle.
Oh, right. I'm not used to full games where kingdom characters start that far north.
Dorgas can move S or SE since both are ties for shortest distance. Players get to decide which. I'm assuming SE since he won't merge with the 3 loose soldiers that way, but it's your guys' call.
Also, miscalculated the Princess movement. Shortest path was around the right of Zyne. She should have moved 1 NW for free, 1 N for 5 supply, collected 1 supply, then moved 1 N into the mountains for 6 supply and is now at 0 supply.
yea, it would have costed the princess 7supply to go to the mountains. she's in her current spot with 7 supplies I think (free move, move, gather 1, gather 1)
Also, we need to take stock of our supply and soldiers.
We were expecting a fight with the dragon, but that didn't happen so now we are stuck on the wrong side of the mountains with full compliments of troops and zero supply.
We are ground to a halt atm with only @cj iwakura able to give us any meaningful amounts of supplies.
I know we have 9 turns to get to the capital, but we don't want to be bogged down in the dragon mountains.
and even though the Black Drake is an ally now, we'd have to spend supplies to use him, so that's another factor we gotta worry about.
What's the princess' current movement forecast?
also, who's turn is it because if its me again, I'm stuck.
Princess route is calculated from her starting position that turn. She takes the shortest, unblocked (by friendly heroes) route to the capital, with ties broken by whichever route is cheapest, with THOSE ties broken by player decision.
Last turn, the shortest route (straight-ish line) was blocked by Zyne and Godfried. The next shortest route was going around the right side of Zyne (going left around Godfried was one space longer) and that was unblocked so she went that way. If she were to move right now, it would be North 2 spaces, then NW all the way to below the Emperor.
So, correct me if I'm wrong. If we move Princess to road and guys stay in mountains, we may choose for her to move W, NW, then attack soldiers. And if Godfried smashes the Priest, we will be in a good shape.
Just as a note, the Drake isn't a character on his own anymore. As my Ally, I just get his power. There's nothing to move or anything, he's off the board.
Given her resource count, the princess is only able to take 1 move this turn. Move into mountains (any move she'd make would be mountains) will cost her 7, then she'll collect 1, but that's not enough to move again.
Otherwise, if we need to funnel her West, we're going to need to be sending a bunch of resources (and a soldier with them) to get everyone in position.
Numbers-wise that adds up yes, she'd be able to reach them (5 for grassland, 5 for grassland, 4 to reach soldiers for a total of 14 of her 17). Pathing I'm still not 100% on, but I believe she'd head that way.
All depends on the "move her to the road" part as at this point, she won't move back to the road on her own unless all other paths are blocked, I believe.
At least we dont need to worry about Gato for a while. Just have him Hulk out and kill the Moon Priest and the chancellor on the left side.
I cant figure out the specifics, but I dont need to move yet, though I need to send away troops and get resources to move next turn to keep near enough the princess to heal her if needed.
Going against the Abyss Prince would cut out a bunch of troops we have now, and make us lean enough to push through this area. And it helps us because 1 less enemy in the Emperor's favor.
Is the black drake everyone's use, or just Zyne's.
If its everyone's we need to get Zyne in a city for logistics duty.
If its just his, he is going to be the hammer of our marching.
Our problem right now is we are split and unable to reinforce either side atm, or being able to funnel many resources into one character.

You just have to move once, send, then keep moving

If another kingdom character moves adjacent to this empire character, the moving kingdom character gains the empire character as an ally.

Impatience: At the start of the princess step, the princess moves 1 space without cost.
Guess the princess' name is Hannibelle.
So... what's our move? We gotta go west because we need to kill the Cancellor (dude with devil horn white hair). We cant win if he's still alive.
Also, maybe we push for the desert? because the princess will bog in the mountains with her troops atm. But that means fighting the devil probably.
