Would there be any interest in me running a relatively short Eberron one-shot with ("tweakable") pregens? System as yet undetermined ... maybe Fate? Maybe 13th Age? Probably looking for about 5 players.

I have am interest words YES!
I have a small amount of 13th Age experience, and I own the FATE books. Would also play with calculus.

I'm interested! Don't have experience in any of those systems but I'm down to learn (assuming there are free/public rules available). Eberron always seemed like a super cool setting.

FATE is, IIRC, free to download, and 13th Age has one of them SRD's. Also, 13th Age is basically D20, just with a lot of the cruft knocked off.

When I say "tweakable" pregens, essentially ... Well, essentially it's like this. In a long-running campaign (or a campaign where things are expected to go long, even if they don't ever make it that far ... ), players should have a lot of agency in defining who their characters are and why they do what they do. For one-shots with no real plans to convert to campaigns, I like to reverse that - instead of you defining your character, I'd make a collection of them and do a little survey, giving you the character you'll play based on what you pick. So you might get Robert Dalang, the Smith, a grizzled one-armed veteran of the last war with some notes on who and why he is the way he is, and the person next to you might get Alphonse Dalang, Robert's younger brother and Mom-and-Dad's-favorite-child, with a similar package explaining what he's up to. Now you're on an adventure together - so how does that play out?
They're tweakable in that I won't set everything in stone before things start, just some broad strokes, and I'll deliberately alter the pregens based on what everyone says they're interested in playing. And, of course, once we hit "play" on the one-shot you're in charge of the character.
I think it's a fun change from the normal way to RP.
Yeah, my old old groups used to like to mix it up with pregens of some sort, to make it more like acting and to get people out of their usual stereotypes.
Random assignment, personality quiz -> character, etc. Something kinda in this but a little different was the amnesia campaign we ran once, where everyone was given blank character sheets and we learned pieces of information to write down as we went. ("Shit, that's my name! *scribble scribble*") Discovering your stats and skills through experimentation was kinda fun, as people often would try shit just to see. "I will free his purse from his possession. ... ...... Guys I don't think I'm a rogue."

If any Mage: The Awakeningers(?) are out there(hi @Jacobkosh and @Ardent ), I've been brainstorming a game idea if anyone wants to make something of it. Thinking set in Salem during the Trials.
How much interest would there be in another Game of Thrones PbP game, this time using the new Dance of Dragons leaders (not the new board start though, just the original) ? Taking a quick look at them, nothing seems as broken as the old Greyjoy deck, or as weak as the old Lannister deck.
I'll throw one together if we can get 6 to sign up. I was interested in the idea but the base game leader imbalance kind of killed it for me. Be great to see if Dance of Dragons fixes that.
Going to be setting up a game of The Expanse sometime this week. It's like a streamlined, (up to) 4 player version of Twilight Struggle set in the show's universe. Instead of just getting dealt cards, you purchase them from a row like in Through the Ages with the new arrival cards being more expensive.
There's no hidden information that I can see so I'll probably play myself.
The Expanse game 1 is up. 3 player slots are open.
As stated, it's like a simpler Twilight Struggle for 4 players, using the card purchase system from Through the Ages. Not that many rules. Very simple to pick up.
It's basically like Twilight Struggle if they condensed the board to 20 regions then took out most of the complex side stuff.
A play by forum Escape the Room game? What madness is this!!!
Exit The Game: The Polar Station is up! Come one, come all! This will be a collective puzzle solving experience. There is no player limit. Contribute as much or as little as you want. Drop in or out at any time. The only stipulation is only those who have not played this entry before and do not know the solutions (obviously don't go looking them up either).

Can you elaborate on "tweakable" "pregens" ?
Sure!

Not necessarily, PC wise. Doesn't have to be just females, some males could be accused as conspirators or warlocks.
Well, I am kinda sorta still running a PBP game, so I wanted to put the idea out there in case anyone wanted to run with it or collaborate.

The format is same as orokos.com, XcY or XpY. Choose vs Permutation, the difference being does the order matter to you or not.
Geth roll 13c5 for five options out of thirteen, don't care about the order drawn
Geth roll 13p5 for five players out of thirteen, assigning player order while we're at it
@MrBlarney @discrider @38thDoe I remember being some of the people interested in this / working out the odds?
