IIII is a legitimate variant, just really uncommon outside of clocks. Which might come into play somewhere considering all the weird crap they squirrel away in these.

I actually end up enjoying IW more than Black Ops 3 mostly because it ascribes to the "everything is broken and some things are more broken than others" design approach that I enjoyed from Modern Warfare 2
Hmmm, I feel like I'm the only person who loved Infinite Warfare and was bored by black ops 3
Ehh, I liked both well enough. Liked the power sets in BlOps3...liked the space combat stuff in InfWar. Both scratched fast-paced manshooting itches equally fine.

I'll try the beta but I was really turned off by how slow WW2 was.
So I'll see.

Hmm rumors that we may get a MW2 remaster this year and folks debating whether or not something should be done able tubes.
I'm in the yes camp personally. Tubing was obnoxious and made some game modes damn near unplayable.

I think using the 'Scavenger and One Man Army doesn't refill grenades' change they made later (MW3 maybe?) wouldn't be a terrible idea, but I can also see the appeal of "Here's a prettier MW2 left just how it was." As long as I can run around the map knifing mofo's I'm good.
I can't even tell if I care about cod any more. I fell off ww2 super fast and bo4 doesn't sound interesting to me, even though bo3 was the last one I got real into.

I liked BLOPS3 cause it was a fresh coat of paint on a series a bit long in the tooth. Even if it was just Titanfall without the Titans and reigned in mobility.
I felt the advanced mobility and map design complimented each other in a way that the other jetpack titles didn't and the idea of specialists was cool.
But apparently I was in the minority and they actually ended up dialing a lot of shit back.
But yeah, at this point I think I've gotten most of what I can out of the traditional CoD formula.
What's sad is the thing I miss the most is the soldier creator from Ghosts. I liked being able to make my soldier look and dress how I wanted. Honestly I liked a lot about Ghosts aside from the really poor maps.
And BO4 does nothing for me either. If given the choice I'll play MW2R way before BO4.
Have them fix the M9's suppressor showing up on radar and I'm good
If they're doing it the way they did MWR, probably not since that one still had oddities like the AK47 reducing damage when used with attachments or the MP5 pooling ammo with the M9. Few new weapons, new cosmetic options, and the legacy bugs/weapon quirks.
I think the thing that we all need to remember here is that @Willeth will now have to come back and grind out all of his riot shield playercards if they release the MW2 remaster.
and I'll have to grind out another 500 headshots with the javelin

Id get mw2 just for spec ops, god I still can't believe they cut that mode.
Once we get up to mw3 remastered I'm really gonna be in, that was my favorite one of them all. Chaos mode and whatever the survival mode was called and spec ops... God I played a ton on mw3.
It's hard to get excited about remasters because Activision is pretty shit, so you know they're not going to include the DLC maps with MW2 remaster and also add microtransactions to it. MW3R will be the same, but I will probably pick that one up since it was my favorite. I think I made it to 5th prestige or something, which is the deepest I've ever gone in a CoD. BLOPS 2 was also a favorite, think I also got to at least 5th prestige in that one.
Everyone has a price. Throw enough gold around and someone will risk disintegration.
Yea I'm hoping they saw a hit with modern Warfare remastered when people were mad about the dlc purchase and go for the full package next time around. I really doubt it though.
Were javelin headshots a thing? Jesus christ, how would you even do that...?
It was a bug because all other guns had a 1000 headshots gold playercard and they never changed it for the Javelin, it actually was 1000 multikills with a javelin.
It was a lot easier to get when the Javelin-blowey-uppy-on death bug was a thing but I still managed it with lots of scavenger on Terminal.

Remember No Russian DLCin
I do hope they bring back a few of the bugs pre-patch just for the laughs of all the dog rapists running around.
So, if the latest rumors are true, MW2R is not being developed by Raven, and will not have multiplayer... There goes the majority of sales if the MP thing is true. If it was like, $20 I'd definitely pick it up for the campaign, but no MP is a hard sell for most CoD players I imagine.

I can't imagine anyone is out there wishing for a MW2 single player remaster.
Id imagine they looked at the data for player bases of modern Warfare remastered and infinite Warfare and extrapolated how much mw2 Remastered mp would directly hurt their bo4 mp bottom line if they launcher together
Big divisions overhaul today. Division specific weapon attachments are going to be available to all divisions now. Infantry can use silenced SMGs, for example. Divisions will be receiving new perks/abilities to compensate for the loss of the exclusive attachments.
Resistance still has the scrambler perk, but now enemy noises will be way easier to hear in an effort to give you an advantage over scrambler letting the enemy know you're around.

Bunch of basic training sets also got shuffled around and they seem to have dropped in a couple new ones. Blitzkrieg seems interesting, more like the old Assault strike package from MW3 with added effects bolted on. Also slid in a few more attachments under the radar like pistol silencers and the rifle grenade.
So if the rumors are true, MW2 Remaster wont have multiplayer and BLOPS 4 wont have singleplayer.
BLOPS 4 rumor is MP, Zombies, and a Battle Royale mode. This does and doesn't really suck if true. I still love COD campaigns, so missing out on that would suck. BLOPS 3 had a pretty shit campaign though so eh... either way, nothing CoD related is really sounding super appealing this year =/

Treyarch apparently leaned heavily into the specialists aspect of the previous game, and essentially turned it into CoD: Overwatch. Unsure if create a class was gone completely, but there were unique characters that you selected to play as. Perks were removed, and each character's special abilities were activated via killstreaks.
Playtesters supposedly really hated it, and Treyarch was forced to revamp the whole thing.

I don't believe those MW2 rumors. First, no mp is dumb. Second, the "leaks" stated a release date of April 30th.

I wouldn't mind if they tuned the killstreaks to diversify between selected specialists, tbh - like different modifiers or behaviours or even some sort of upgrade tree. There's probably ways to take this in an interesting direction, but that would probably take excessive time and effort on their part
BLOPS IIII reveal event this Thursday, if anyone still cares :P
Just based on the amount of hours I've dumped into cod over the years im willing to give the new one a look each year, but man I don't even know what they're going to have to do to pull me in

Fix OMA to not replenish tubes, make blast shield actually do something, somewhat adjust commando pro, and bring back Favela.
Oh and add like 4-5 more Spec Ops missions that use the AC-130.

Just MW2 at anything over $20 though... ehhhhh

Edit: Has a health bar that reminds me of Overwatch.
Edit 2: Really looks like Overwatch's angry teen cousin.
