Coming up tonight, our exclusive reporting on corruption at a local pet grooming business, and how it could affect your commute in the morning. First, we have local election results for you, as residents from all over Phalla went to the polls today as, for the first time, local judges and district attorneys are voted into office. No one was quite sure what to expect, but political pundits were expecting very close results in this first-of-its kind election here in the state. And as the polls have closed just a few minutes ago, we are ready to report the first returns on this historic day.
There were three open positions on the bench, and in a tight race Gizzy, MamaWolf, and jdarksun have all been elected to the bench, with only a few votes separating jdarksun from the first runner up. Congratulations to our new judges, and from everyone here at Action Nine News at 9, we wish them the best of luck in the administration of justice.
Local residents also elected two new district attorneys today, with kime and 38thDoe garnering the most votes over the course of the day.
Our new judges and district attorneys are expected to take office and assume their duties immediately, with many experts predicting the district attorneys to start cracking down on crime right away, and the judges to start hearing cases as soon as they are filed. When the winners make their victory speeches, our reporters will be on the scene.
Next, though, we turn to sports! Caroline Hubert has all of your local high school action, coming up right after this break.

If the court grants a civil action, it will not take effect until the court's opinion stating such is posted at the end of the day.
The vote count will be published (2-1, 3-0, etc.). How each individual Judge voted is private.
