edit- Hrm, TotP huh? Okay to add more of substance.
I really enjoyed the first game, bounced hard off the second and the third (that is to say Terra Wars not TB3) doesn't sound very appealing to me at all.
Especially when Alchemist Code has, IMHO, really raised the bar for freemium games and is just hitting all the right notes for me.
Axen on
A Capellan's favorite sheath for any blade is your back.
God dammit I already have 4 games on my phone and didn't need to know about Alchemist Code.

i kind of gave up on Terra Battle when it had been almost 2 years and Amimari still hadn't gotten a recode like the other two SS nurses
and then they started rolling out recodes for characters that were already Z class and I was like "fuck it, i'm out"

She still doesn't have one. She's my only SS nurse too. I think every other A and B character got one though. Even that monster in the second stage that little green dragon dog thing got one.
I wonder if it is a timed release for Apple Arcade? I guess I can sign up for the 1 month free trial if I ever have time on my hands to give this a go.
"To tell this epic story, the developer Mistwalker approached a novel in the form of a “memory” system where players encounter and collect various memories, journal entries, and notes presented as miniature in-game novels to flesh out the story, realms, and characters of Fantasian.
Each of the 150+ dioramas has been crafted by the masters of the Japanese “Tokusatsu,” or special effects industry. To create Fantasian’s real-life miniature sets, the game uses veterans who have worked on projects like the Godzilla films, Attack on Titan, and Ultraman."
Fantasian looks very cool. I'm a big fan of the position based attacks and the Dimengeon is a brilliant idea. It's a great compromise between having random battles and turning them off completely - just postpone them and allow for free roaming and exploration.
I really hope it's a time exclusive because goddamn I wanna check this out but I don't have any Apple products. I think some other Apple timed exclusives, like Exit the Gungeon, came to Switch eventually. Since this game has some touchscreen focused things I'm sure Switch would be a great place to put it after any timed exclusivity runs out.
When game development is completed, what happens to all the dioramas? Do you just get to take all of them home? Do they just go to your studio?
That's actually one of the biggest challenges that I'm facing now that we're close to the end of development. But some of the bigger dioramas can be as big as six-and-a-half-feet long, so they're stored in a storage unit right now.
But the unfortunate thing, however, is that a lot of the coloring techniques and methods [have limitations]. There's a lot of clay that's being used in these dioramas, so they won't last forever, and over time they will probably decay and break. So as of right now, at least, they're stored in a storage unit.

But also i hope mistwalker's next ventures do succeed because i thought their aesthetic was marvellous and Terra Battle's design was refreshing
Looks like they put together something promising.
