That's actually about what I expect from efforts to prevent a war.
I picked up that bundle and started up 1 for the first time since I beat it when it came out. Ive forgotten so much about this game. But ive now learned that the way to beat each boss is mindlessly grinding extra levels then realizing there was a way to avoid all damage Midway through the last attempt
I'm just... I refuse to give Donald and goofy potions. I remember that much
Deep jungle is the third boss I kept getting smacked around by, grinded a few levels, then found out there was an infinitely easier way to do it.i also realized Tarzan had a heal and I could disable his mp attacks at the end
Finally getting cure really sped up the next few hours though and I got through Cerberus and reverse armor real quick.
Also ive been playing entirely too much since I picked this up a couple of days ago.
Proud is tough but the camera is tougher. Mostly the game holds up well though
Cast Blizzard at her head, make sure your two idiot friends are in there soaking up its attention whenever you need to heal. Maybe I was overleveled, but compared to Ursula, Dragon Maleficent was a pushover on my (currently unfinished) Proud playthrough.
I keep forgetting about summons. I used Bambi once to save me in the shadow Sora fight.
I'm seeing a lot of strategies for her. Dumbo wrecks her. Stop combined with gravity works. Get on her back and strike raid her. Stand on thorns, summon Tinkerbell and let your party kill her incredibly slowly. So clearly I just was wrong for running up and hitting her in the face. Will try these tonight and see what works
Beat dragon maleficent by summoning Tinkerbell then just casting stopra, gravira, gravira, stopra, etc and having goofy ether me.
Then I accidentally ran into the Riku fight with my set up from the dragon fight. After a second to switch everything up he was actually super easy which surprised me. I have vivid memories of That fight stopping me in my tracks forever when I first played it.
I'm unsure of how completist I want to be here. On the one hand, I've gone through it all before and I have all the other games to play. On the other hand, I have six months till 3 so I might as well at least do the Hades cup and mess around with the optional bosses a little

CoM's plot is fun, because in hindsight it's real obvious Nomyra and co were given a lot more freedom after KH1 was a success and they just jumped immediately on there bullshit.
Playing Birth By Sleep. This game feels pretty seriously over-designed for how long each campaign is. Maybe if it was one 30-45 hour story instead of three 10-15 hour stories I'd find the time to actually investigate all this stuff, and I'm sure the people who go whole hog into completion are getting some value out of it, but I just feel like I'm carrying an arsenal that's several times bigger than what I need to actually deal with any of these challenges. Also, a good answer to "KH stages sometimes feel constrained and repetitive" definitely wasn't "do each one three times." If I have to listen to another refrain of the Cinderella stage music, I'm going to put a fist through the TV.
I do like the command deck style of ability management though, even if I've felt only a minimal impulse to combo any of my stuff into higher powered stuff.
Realizing lately that I don't really trust or respect basically any of the moderators here. So, good luck with life, friends! Hit me up on Twitter @DesertLeviathan

That might be KH2 though.
Might have to go back and beat up those jelly fish dudes in Deep Space for a while to get some abilities and more commands mastered.

He just really wants his inventory to be empty at all times
Well of course. It's not like he has any pants pockets to carry things in.

chain of memories is wild coming off of the first kingdom hearts.....

card breaks are very annoying tho
Then I started Kingdom Hearts 2 and got even more confused.
Then I progressed Kingdom Hearts 2 and what the fuck is happening here

Sora was supposed to be the one to fill Ansem's dark soul with light

Farts
It was a lot to take in
this dude is really throwing the book at me
Given what we now know about the destiny islands there's this almost bittersweet quality to the kida having a little hideaway on Small Island
I do like the command deck style of ability management though, even if I've felt only a minimal impulse to combo any of my stuff into higher powered stuff.
WOOOO
This is a song explicitly about getting married???
I hope Sora and Riku have many happy years together.
