One transparent layer picture later, and the triwing code looks more like:
    696, but the last 6 doesn't have a full cross-bar..

We also have enough information to complete the first aid cross now. Code below:

Both tri wing guesses are incorrect.

  • MrBodyMrBody Registered User regular
    The cross answer is correct!

Outstanding! The cash box is open!

You find riddle cards B, R, W, and this strange item.

We really need to figure out that alien puzzle though.
That last card does not align with the holes.

    Tri-wing
Ok, set up all the cards side by side that have the green splotches and the alien.
Order them smallest to largest based on the growing claw sizes on the card with holes in it.
Noticed there's a black line on the first card, and two black lines on the second card.
Lined up the card with holes so the left edge is along the line.

    Tri-wing solution guess:
    230

I'm guessing the three is the important bit, but can we see a comparison to a 'normal' riddle card back?

    Hexagon
So the back of hint F is 3, and the second card says count what's missing, which are the 6 light poles. So we've got 3 6.

Also, the mountains in the back are different?!

They're all exactly the same, but with an 'e' in place of that '3'.

  • MrBodyMrBody Registered User regular
The Tri Wing guess is correct!

    Can't update until later today.

  • MrBodyMrBody Registered User regular
Hmmmmm, ummm....I may have left the game back at my folks'. I'll do a more thorough search tomorrow.

  • MrBodyMrBody Registered User regular
Huh, well the good news is I'm house sitting for my folks starting Tuesday so we can continue if I left it there.

  • MrBodyMrBody Registered User regular
Well crap....I can't find it. Not sure what to do. I can try turning my car inside out to see if it fell behind a seat somewhere. Stay tuned.

  • MrBodyMrBody Registered User regular
    Okay,

bad news: I cannot find that pesky box.

good news: I'm pretty sure I remember how the last riddles go. Going to try winging it from here.

(can't post actual scans, but I can post the text that you currently have all the resources to solve)

    Tri Wing Unlock riddle card

    (Clover)
"Time to open up a window and look out for some fresh air."

Can't remember the symbol. Posting the code will be enough.

    (We'll call this "Clover" shape)

So the second digit here is incorrect I think.

Were these windows cut outs or printed on the page?

Printed, but the game encourages you to fold and cut up any component.

In other news, just finished the Pharoah's Tomb with the fam last night. Unfortunately, a couple puzzles really wouldn't work in forum format.

    Soo...
I don't think those are part of the above triwing clue.

So with my code, I'm using two parts of ArcSyn's but:
    2nd digit:
You have to start counting when you see the picture
Which means you have to cut the card
Which should give you more light poles eyeballing it
    Missing digit:
    Is through a window
    no the -other- window

  • MrBodyMrBody Registered User regular
Sorry I guess I was too vague. The window riddle is its own shape (we'll call it "clover"). It is not part of the "1st, 2nd, 3rd digit" puzzle.

    Clover musings
Ok, so here's what I've tried.
I cut out the three windows from page 5 of the notebook in OP.
I then laid it over every card and page we've got so far. Nothing seems to line up. Tried rotating, moving them around to see if it's not exact, but more if you slide it in a certain way it'll show up. I'm pretty stuck here.

    312? 372?

    This is correct! Well...
    It's 123 actually

And that was the square symbol I'm finding out.

You find a card with the following memo:

    (circle symbol)
    "__ open ___ ____ placed on ___ ____ safe, __ the wheel ___ ____ ___ the _____ disks to circle 506. __ ___ ____ ____ the largest __ ___ _____ _ spaces __ ___ left, then move the medium disk _ spaces __ ___ right, ___ then move the smallest ____ _ spaces __ ___ _____, ___ safe will open."

So that makes the circle code what
    2 4 7?
    Assuming that clue is incorrect.
I think the second left is a right.

    Yes, left. (fixed)

    It's very late to be recreating these from memory, then making sure they make sense ;_;
