Knocked together my first of two Razorback conversions for my spaceman Primaris Deathwatch. The usual boxy marine vehicles don't really gel with the theme, but the GSC Goliath is suitably rounded and utilitarian looking. I frankenstiened some Taurox treads on it to go for a mars-rover sorta thing.
I still need to make the rims black and touch up a few things, but first models sort of complete for my nighthaunt army. I gotta learn how to take more time taking pictures.... and print that turntable because I'm jealous of those 360 shots we keep seeing and it will show off the chroma change better.
Planning on grabbing some methylated spirits to strip some nids a friend gave me.
Will spirits break down super glue? One of the carnifexess is in pieces and some of the limbs were obviously held in with super glue and not plastic glue.
WIP Namarti Thralls. It's nice to be painting miniatures again, but man the overlapping parts on these guys (esp. getting the backs of the boots around the flowing tabards) has been kind of a pain. Also I'm suddenly aware of how bad my eyes have gotten in the 5+ years since I last painted a miniature.
I haven’t posted any models in awhile on account of getting a sudden case of the Olds and being struck down with old people diseases, but here’s a spooky blood well!
I finally had a chance to get paint on plastic last night for the first time in over a month. Finally got to use the new brushes I'd ordered and a couple of larger vehicle/monster sized brushes I picked up at a local art shop.
Holy hell.... I don't know how I was getting by with basic hobby grade brushes before. The higher grade brushes are a delight to paint with. Thanks to everyone here for the various recommendations.
