okay, someone explain why chromie is so good on volskaya?

is it just that she can safely poke into the objective without needing to be there? fat stacks off the protector?

You're always teamfighting over the objective, which gives you the ability to stack up very quickly, especially if you take Mounting Sands at 1 as ducks did. Hits against the big fucking protector also count as quest progress, so if you happen to lose the first 1-2 objectives all you've done is give Chromie the ability to stack that much faster.

Your also basically guaranteed to make it to the late game - or at least it's the best map for making sure you'll complete chromie's quest; and no one can heal through that, so poke away and eventually you win unless they score a pick on you.

Both ults are good - you can just keep rolling a lead with temporal loop and get a pick any time they try and force a come back - or just zone a point with sands if things are a little closer.

She can safely poke onto the objective, yeah, and the objective itself is basically a big 5v5 clusterfuck where she's going to generate a bunch of stacks pretty easily. Also, the Protector itself counts as a Hero, so even if you lose the first objective, you can stack your Q to hell and back while they push over your towers, and that's generally a trade I'm willing to make. I always take the Mounting Sands talent at 1, because it's so easy to stack on Volskaya. For reference, in that match we talked about up above, I had 23 stacks at the end of the first minute. And keep in mind that includes the gates opening and travel time for both teams to get mid for the skirmish. 23 stacks, man. That's almost halfway complete already.

She also just gums everything up with Time Traps, which can be a real pain in the ass for the enemy team. They can dive deep to try and dig her out, but they just end up getting frozen in the middle of your team repeatedly for it.

yrel when the team doesn't just take damage is so rude. 3 people hitting me off and on in sacred ground and i'm ignoring them and just capping the shrine around them.

yrel's punisher delivery service always delivers.

Dover has this superpower where he's able to last-pick Garrosh in draft mode.

Tonight, I realized that I have a superpower, too:

I can take Headhunter on Zul'jin and always catch out the enemy Abathur.

I always thought Magnetism or Invisibility would have been the best superpowers, but, you know what? I'll take it.

The best super power you should always take is the Healing Factor thing. Fighting someone with Magnetism? Walk away and outlive them forever. No sickness/flue/whatever.

I could stand to have a night where we all just get on and have fun. How do you guys feel about getting on tonight and just running Juice Pirates on people? Could even sick to QM if you want.

I think I can do it tonight. I couldn't yesterday as I was busy making terrain for DND but it was still fun watching you guys until your stream died. If you guys don't have a 5th, I'll definitely try and get in. If you do, that's cool too.

I’ve seen some AIs go absolutely insane on getting every camp they can (at least, in vs AI).

Like; you’ll start getting hit by mercs at level 3

I'd still love to see a Alliance VS Horde comp but I think I'd borderline be on my own team with like 4 AI, heh.

But yeah I'm really excited to see how it plays out.

    Tempo Storm roster update: https://tempostorm.com/articles/regarding-tempo-storm-hots-end-of-split-roster-change

Reading between the lines, this probably means that Tempo Storm will pick up a sub to hold the spot warm until Swoy is eligible in 6 months. The time horizon on this planning feels a bit ambitious given the transitory nature of esports teams, but it's a solid plan if you assume everyone will stick together.

    Queued into BoE as Li-Ming so I figured I'd give Q build a shot~

IT'S PRETTY GOOD ON THAT MAP

    No like actually though:

    DiAIe1bU8AA5lT1.jpg

Anyway that aside, I would fucking melt Raynor and Gul'dan in the blink of an eye because they had a nice habit of standing still (Guldo while Draining Life, Jimmy.... just because I guess). Plus we had Force Wall and that meant pretty sick line ups for my Q.

Regrettably I couldn't go Power Hungry (really fuckin' hard to make use of it on that map), but it's cool cause Force Armor saved my butt instead.

This game rarely makes me frustrated or angry, but Unranked Draft is an utter fucking shit show. Why do I have 3 people under level 50 (and no, they weren't smurfs based on their picks and plays - one of them didn't even know how to mount) into a team of all level 400+ (only two of them grouped), and why was the one person under level 10 drafting!? Completely ridiculous.

Did Blizz say if the matchmaking changes were gonna be hitting this mode? It is impossible to take seriously.
