Beat the Dark Souls board game today, three of us playing. Winged Knight then Dancer of the Boreal Valley. Took about four and a half hours using double souls per encounter. We only died once, in the second room.
That game's got some problems but I still like it.
I have the Bloodborne board game. I hope to have a chance to play it someday.
It is a very fun game. It's pretty easy to set up and teach, too!
Speedrunners use this trick where you aim firebombs from the start and stand on top of where you need to fall before the floor actually breaks. For your situation, I'd recommend paying attention to the exact tile you're on when you jump to increase your odds. It's a shitty fight. Easily the worst part of the game.

I ain’t playing souls, but I just started playing Bloodborne for the first time and this game is quite excellent.
I’ve hardly scratched the surface and all that, but is the dlc worth snagging?
I will go back to the awful bed of chaos fight later.
I just absolved my sin against the forest hunters, summoned some help, and slew Sif.
I went through the undead burg, killed that black knight and got the black knight sword!
Is the greatsword of Artorias good for a quality type build?
Should I change my zwei to a lightning zweihander?
only if you don't plan to raise your str and dex beyond the minimum necessary to hold it, since the fire and lightning infusions remove all stat scaling
although you actually only surpass the numbers from max upgraded fire/lightning infusion on a max upgraded normal weapon with like 40 strength and dex or something like that so if you're not already heavily invested in str/dex it's probably fine have some wasted points there

greatsword of artorias is kind of a NG++++++ weapon, it's the best weapon in the game when you have strength, dexterity, intellect and faith all at 99 :P
Forbidden woods was just fine until all the fucking snakes came to play.

Thankfully the 3 ninjas boss only took me a couple tries. Shouldn’t have to run through there again!

Anyway, every last fucking bit of Cainhurst castle so far has been nightmare fuel. Blood licking spider ladies? Gargoyles with old dude heads?! Fuckin’ ghosts?! Jeeeeesus. My solace has been that ludwigs holy blade is a god damn monster
In random souls occurrences I saw one of prulds old videos parodying what if souls was a romance anime. I’m kinda confused as to why I would totally watch it. Still I’m sure I’ve watched sillier anime.

Have we seen Sekiro dude using weapons other than the sword? Cause man even if you stuck to realistic and Japanese there is like a bigass panoply of things to hit people with, polearms and firearms and bows and flail-esque stuff, a whole bunch of less-lethal mancatcher type things the law would use

It is generally considered excellent and has a ton of cool weapons, but it is very much end of near end game content.

although if you actually do the last boss it boots you to NG+ and you'll have to go through the whole game again to get strong enough for the NG+ DLC

That's debatable I think, DLC is certainly end game content but it's very good shit that shouldn't be missed

I like to use co-op to explore
So I warped from somewhere to firelink, got 15 doses
Warped the catacombs, eventually made it the first bonfire in the tomb of giants
Got very lost, found Rhea and her escorts
Got kicked off a cliff by a giant skeleton
So I put down my sign and did some co-op
And found myself with 5 doses of estus
It's been a thing the whole time I have played, but it really pissed me off yesterday
Oh well, no time spent doing coop is wasted. Plus i'm actually pretty good at Kalameet now, my memory of it was a lot worse than the reality.
So yeah, I’ve played a lot of video games, but I’m pretty sure this is the first time a dude has whooped my ass with a dead body in a bag.
