The Pre-PAX 2018 Start of Term Feast - See y'all on the 30th!
Due to a lack of sales I had to cancel the event. But, BUT! You cannot keep a Slytherin down so I am gonna try and organize something smaller for anyone that wants to go. First things first is I need to figure out how many people wanna go so I can try and find something. I'll only have this up for a few days because I'll need to start calling around to see who can accommodate us. I'll probably close signups on Thursday since that's the first day I have available to get cracking on finding a place. This is non-negotiable too. When I start calling around I need an exact guest count so I can't sneak people in after the fact so sign up now if you wanna get noms with us!

There's a boardgame meetup at the Sheraton the same night, though this year they're having to work with a whole new event coordinator who apparently didn't get the memo the boardgame night is a yearly thing so this year's is TBD. I sent a mass email out to all ticket holders via the Eventbrite admin tools. These forums don't play nicely on my phone so I had to wait until I was back in US waters so I could tether my phone up without getting wrecked by roaming charges to post here.
I usually go out for a late-late night dinner afterward, around 11 or midnight, usually at Green Leaf. It’s vintage 70’s era Hanoi-style dive bar with quite good Vietnamese food and a full bar with stiff drinks. Also it’s a popular late night industry hangout for bartenders and cooks. If anybody wants to hook up for that, I’m down.
We have 21 people so far so should be a fun dinner!

Since this is all just me flying by the seat of my pants and I wanted to make everyone could have something they'd eat I just went with the easy option of Stout. It being right in TWDT territory and them openly advertising that they can take groups of 25 made them a good pick, I feel.
