I think the only way we have to kill an imperial is to put the elf king between the princess and the emperor (maybe after attacking one of the 2 city area and moving back, to lower the enemy counterattack strenght) forcing her to move left and to be attacked from Lyla. So I plan to forage than send to either @Phyphor or @AustinP0027 1 troop and 3 resource, than I move on the road on the nuked tile and send 2 resources and 2 troops to both the king and the princess. @Elvenshae are you up to that?
Where are you thinking Elf King sits? The only thing that changes Princess course is if he's in the city directly above her correct? Otherwise, she'll just move up and around. She has 3 troops and 9 resources, so she can move 3. If Elf King blocks her though, won't she just go right towards the twin?
For myself, I'll have enough resources this turn to move one space north onto the mountain, but not enough to attack the twin directly, so I can't kill anyone.
Send her troops but no more resources
She will gather, gather, gather. Gather, gather, move and we slow the game down to prep. There needs to be more damage to the emperor than to the princess's health and soldier count to win and we still have to kill the Chancellor
The problem is that if we don't kill someone, everyone princess included will lose 2 life. So if elf king moves exactly over the princess (attack somenoe and come back) she will have to move around, and go left because the road is easyer to move into. And be attacked, killing the imperial character. The princess has 1 resources, spended 8 of the 9 to move where she is.
Directly over meaning the grassland above her? If so, she wouldn't attack the empire character there, should would go left one, then north once and north east once to go around Elf King. Those wouldn't push her into the empire character that is northwest two of her.
Alternatively, with 14 resources I can attack the twin above me. 6 soldiers versus 5 total defense though, so not completely solid on that actually being able to be pulled off (short of a good card play to help). I'd probably need a really good roll to make it happen.
I don't know how feasible it is, but if I can get my hands on 15 resources total, I can attack the twin twice. +3 to move to mountain, then 12 for two attacks. I think I could actually clear him out with two attacks. Requires people giving up resources though, so not sure if we'd rather let the princess take a hit.
@AustinP0027 I could give you 1 Troop and all my resources (and send @Phyphor the troops to give to the princess) but the twin has strenght 6 and you have 2 dice less for attacking in a castle... I could gather, gather, gather, send, send and Give 21 resources(1 move 2 attacks WITH DRAGON HELP) and 1 soldiers to you and 4 sodiers and 3 resources to @Phyphor to pass to the princess.
Seems a waste, because the twin will resurrect, but anyway better then the alternative. It's a plan?
Even if the twin ressurects, they'll just bash against me in that castle spot and I have an extra defense die as well (so I'd be rolling 9 dice each time) so that's not a huge negative. I'd rather that then have the princess take any more hits.
actually, i can deal with that hopelessness card this turn only. if we cant kill a guy this turn, since im towards the end of turn order i can safety net us for not losing hp.
do we want to keep it and have total warfare assist us the rest of the game to move that or are we too close to the end to be dealing with all the bosses that are left?
First, play Divine Favor: gain 3 actions
6 Actions left in total.
2. Move N (-8 resources)
3. Powerful Magic- Use 1 action - Destroy all soldiers in an adjacent space or any space in your area. - Hit Twin to remove all his Soldiers
4. Move N onto twin (6 resources + spend 3 to add 4 dice)
Geth, roll 10d6t4 for Time to die! (6 soldiers plus 4 ally dice)
If I'm going to for the Black Knight, I think I'll have to try hit and run tactics of moving to hit, then moving back to this castle. He's got a lot of troops and a lot of health.
If I'm doing that, then I'll for sure sit here and collect for 3 actions, as that will help build up resources faster.
Ok, so if the plan is for me to go after Black Knight, someone quickly validate if there's a reason that me grabbing 9 more resources this turn doesn't make sense.

Where did the second twin respawn to again? Just north of the one I just killed?
If so, should I take a shot at her or just sit in the castle and defend?
She's north, but has moved 1 square further away onto the Vampire's tile.
Might be interesting to go chase down the Dark Knight? Like, it would be really cool if we could get the Red Twin to come my way.

Yep! Blue is completely passive.
White is "attack adjacent," and Red is "hunt your ass down."
