Is my PSU dead?

in Moe's Stupid Technology Tavern
My PC suddenly turned off today. Power button doesn't turn it back on at all, no beep no fans. Disconnected everything from the PSU and jumped the green/black connection, the PSU fan spins. Starts with just the Mobo plugged in, and Mobo plus drives. If I plug in my 970, it won't power on, and I have to disconnect everything and start over. PSU is about 5 years old. A Seasonic SSR-550RM. It's not the 970 is it?

    Yep, I had the same issue when my first 1080 died. Head to the PC build thread and we will set you straight
