I could use them to go swinging north against the twin and the vampire. I’m short a couple.
You need two right? I can send them to you since everyone else is too far. Then, I could move to the NW tile to be closer to send troops next turn as someone moves up.
Edit: Or, could send troops to Preda this turn since I'll then be in range with 1 move NW.

Yes, two more troops would be great, especially since we don't know the Vampire's fate card yet.
So it probably won't affect this game much, but I found out 2 rules I've been getting wrong all this time:
-The check to see if the vampire resurrects on his unoccupied home space occurs every round. I always thought as soon as you occupy it you've "cleansed" the area.
-Enemy characters who are resurrected (vampire, twins, some cards) have their fate reset and draw a new fate card when the conditions are met. I'll be drawing a new fate for Marianne in a bit.

2 possible plans:
-I get a troop and 6 resources and send them to Godfried, @AustinP0027 send 2 troops to Elf king, moves south, send the 4 troops left to Godfried too, than moves on the mountain on the twin tile (to run away from the 2 zombies and be ready to run for Lyla next turn). @NotoriusBEN run straight toward the chancellor and stops next to the city, so the 3 troops will attack him instead of joining the chancellor, that we will have to fight someway in the next 2 turns(without extra troops).
-I get three resources and move north twice, ready to recieve all the troops Zyne will not send to Elf king, Zyne will be free to move wherever he likes with his residual resorces. Godfried will not be ready to attack Chancellor and will have to wait further away from the city (I suggest in the exe south of Josephine) and attack the chancellor in nineth and tenth turns after he left the city with 7 troops.
im going to have to fight the chancellor and whatever he gets from moving. might as well whittle that down before he moves onto them.
im also going to hedge my bets and make sure i can supply myself, hence getting into the town as well next turn. i just wish i could do it before he got additional troops.
godfried ends outside the town gate with 5 troops and 2 supply. im gonna need some more unless we just want the chancellor to break on me. hmmm. might work if i take the damage and heal myself to preserve the troops.
turn 8 zyne will be first so i wont be able to be supplied to attack that turn. @Preda i have sustain to keep the troops alive.
8 troops vs my 5 troops. I can still tank that without giving up free hp. oh... and since all moves are simultaneous, the 3 troops attack me as the chancellor moves in his 5 so... yea he's hurt more for it.
Its a hard judgement call, but I think I will be ok without supplies next turn. he will be attacking me so he doesnt get the shield bonus of the town. Oh yes... as long as I don't completely whiff my attacks this is a numbers game in my favor.
of course, the dragonborn said that too... >.>;
I'll see what happens on the attack.
the problem is I'm holding onto 5 troops that could be used at the front line ASAP. unless you all are just planning on writing these guys off as you work on the emperor.
Play Support Cart: Quick Reflexes- Gain 1 action
1) Send 2 troops to Elf King
2) Move S to grasslands (-4 resources)
3) Send 4 troops to Godfried
4) Supply (+1 resource)
5) Move NE to Mountain (-3 resources)
End with 0 soldiers and 0 resources.
I'll need a couple resources next turn if I'm taking a shot at moving towards Lyla.
Ahah! Then I shall go. Start with 7 resources and 4 troops.
1. Collect resources (7->10)
2. Move North (4 troops + 2 Mountains = 6; 10->4) to attack Marianne.
I attack with 4 troops, +3 dice for being me, +1 die from Irwin, -2 dice for attacking a mountain = 6 dice. I hit on a 3+, miss on a 2, and take damage on a 1. Marianne has 3 troops and 3 battle strength.
Okay, trying that again, I get 5 hits, 1 miss, which is enough to assign 3 hits to Marianne, kill 2 troops, and have 1 left over.
Marianne is eliminated and becomes my ally. Wonder twin powers, RE-ACTIVATE AGAIN! I add an additional die in battle, treat misses as hits, and can reroll 2 dice. Since I didn't OHK the enemy this time, I return to my space in the Twin Star Fortress, and do not need a Fate card for the Vampire yet.
Since I'm stuck in this castle, I reach out for Help from the Merchants, and gain 5 resource (4->9).
I think I need to gather resources again, otherwise I won't be able to make it through the mountains. Am I missing something?
Enemies with red backgrounds are aggressive, and will begin moving towards the nearest kingdom hero 1 space per turn as soon as one enters within a 1 area range.
Blue background: defensive, will never move.
White: Will move only to attack adjacent kingdom hero.
Remember you must pause and draw a fate card the first time a character moves into the same area or adjacent space as an empire general (exceptions: Black Knight, King of the Abyss, Emperor).
Empire Generals

Kingdom Heroes
Donia 1/4 health
Elf King 4/5 health
Allies
Zyne: (Black Drake) May spend 3 supply to add 4 dice once per battle.
Elf King: (Irwin) + (Marianne) +2 battle die, reroll 2 dice, misses count as hits
Cards
(Zyne) Master's Armor- ongoing: Gain 1 die when defending
(Godfried) Balanced Weapons- Gain 1 battle die.
Stage III has been reached. If the Princess does not reach the capital alive by the end of turn 10, the game ends in defeat.
How had the Princess' march managed to make it so far? What started as a suicide run had picked up and managed to carve their way through half the occupied territory towards the capital. How did this ad hoc army fight through the imperial forces that had managed to route Astoria's army in its prime?
The scribes analyzing captured documents painted the picture. The invasion had cost the Imperials more than they first thought. The remainder of their forces were dispersed and focused on pacification. The larger legions had been broken up as rivalries between their generals drove them to isolate themselves and greedily carve out their own new fiefdoms. None of them imagined as concentrated a counter offensive from the remaining unoccupied territories.
The surprise was gone now. Already couriers had been intercepted showing renewed coordination between the enemy commanders. Their forces were now pulling up stakes and converging on the advancing Princess.
Far more terrible was the report from the last remaining long range outposts. Dust clouds had been spotted on the roads to Legania. Fresh reserves were marching up from the Imperial capital, as large as the initial invasion force. This time there was no full strength Astorian army to stand against them.
Victory had to come now. A last drive to cut off the head before the reinforcements arrived.
Event (Stage III)
Total War: (ongoing)- All empire characters except the emperor become aggressive.
Dark Rituals: (ongoing)- The princess loses 1 health at the start of each princess step. Kingdom characters on the same area as the princess may take this damage instead of her.
(next event via Donia scouting)
Curse of Immortality: Choose 1 defeated Empire character. Place them on a space adjacent to the Emperor.

@AustinP0027 moving on the mountain without troops cost only 2 resources. You might want to reconsider the extra action.
Either way someone has gone after me so if I was wrong I’ll eat the mistake.

Zyne seems to be stuck, as the princess currently isn't moving and zyne moves before the elf lord
Do we want the princess to move 1 square?
I can give zyne some resources and the princess some
can we get a mini map update @MrBody ?
we are approaching the last 3 turns and so we only have 9 to 10 spaces to move at most anymore, if we even had the supplies for it.

Other than that, I think the map is correct.
I could do something like
+1 soldier +5 r for free
Recruit 2
1 soldier + 2 r to the princess
1 or 2 + 8 to zyne
Zyne can move, the princess moves and clears off the 6 soldiers, next turn I can send more soldiers to the princess
