    Any podcast that has tunnel vision has a high chance of being a bad or uninteresting podcast. I word it that way so that there's wiggle room for the few good things that are like "video games only!"

    I prefer something that is varied on types of content covered. I grew up listening to a lot of talk radio and that's a feel I look for.

    The Mixed Six is two friends and a producer making a podcast as a long-con scam to write off drinking beer as tax deductible/get people to donate beers so they don't have to pay for them. So far they have almost reached a year without having to pay for beer. No options for 'purely selfish exploitation of tax law', so gotta go with roleplay podcasts.

    I forgot that Spencer and Jason has promised the Fullcast was gonna be a full time RDR2 podcast when the game came out.

    And sure enough, half the episode is dedicated to student loan bear pelts and how you can get an evil point if you accidentally shotgun a guy off a cliff instead of helping him up.

    I recently realized that Comedy Bang Bang lost something very very important to me when they stopped doing the games

    The structure used to be "talk to the guest - bring in the comedians playing characters to establish themselves - now play silly games with all of them mixed together"

    now it's "talk to the guest - bring in the comedians - continue to improv with the comedians for an indiscriminate amount of time with no real segments to it"
