    Finished Castlevania.

Show wasn't without its problems but it was fun as hell and that's ultimately what matters

'Better Call Saul' actor admits he cut off his own arm and lied about being a wounded vet
A New Mexico-based actor who has appeared in AMC's "Better Call Saul," the western TV drama "Longmire" and the 2009 movie "The Men Who Stare at Goats" says he cut off his own arm and pretended to be a wounded veteran in hopes of furthering his acting career.

In a video interview with Albuquerque's KOB-4 TV, Todd Lawson Latourette, who is bipolar, said he was off his medications and in the midst of a psychotic episode 17 years ago when he cut off his right forearm with a Skilsaw and cauterized it himself.

"I don't want to say the word 'insanity' because the mentally ill – we're so far from insane," he said tearfully of his mental state at the time. "We are your brothers, your mothers, your sisters. And we hurt."

Latourette later fashioned his own prosthetic forearm and hand. He also began lying about the cause of his disability, saying he sustained the wound in combat. It worked, he insisted. Casting directors started booking him for roles.

Latourette says he hopes he can serve as a cautionary tale for other people with bipolar disorder.

Type 2 here. It's weird because I don't get manic, just from time to time I go from normalish to so depressed I think some off the wall dark shit.

If he was an actor in an episode of Better Call Saul and it was his biggest role, yes

Ahhh, found out one of the reasons bodyguard is so good/why I like it. It's from the creator of the very, very good Brit cop show Line of Duty.

    Also, episode 3. Gotdamn.

Producer Adi Shankar is in talks to produce a series based on the long-running “The Legend of Zelda” video game franchise, TheWrap has learned exclusively.

On Monday, Shankar posted on Instagram that he was “working with an iconic Japanese gaming company to adapt one of their iconic video game series into a series.”

Shankar’s most recent credits include serving as a producer on Joseph Kahn’s “Bodied” and starring in “Get the Girl,” as well as executive producer in “Lone Survivor.” He also served as executive producer on the TV series “Castlevania.”

If it's as good as Castlevania, I'm up for it.

Looks like Gotham is getting two more episodes for it's final season. That'll give it 100 episodes total, which used to be the "we made it to syndication!" standard, but who knows if that still holds today.

    Anybody watching Survivor this season?
It's rare that I like early on alliances but the bros are really an amazing group. I really hope they are able to stay loyal within the 3 post merge.

This feels like the most impact I've seen weather have in a season early on (but admittedly there were a few years I fell off watching the show).

It also feels like there are less people I've forgotten exist this season. Ususally there are a half dozen or so people that when they go home I have to ask my wife who they are, this season that hasn't been the case.

Everything I know about Survivor I learned from @Nirya.

Kevin Can Fuck Himself is in development at AMC. Comedy show about a sitcom wife who realizes she's a sitcom wife, the supporting character in her own life, and is upset

Created by Valerie Armstrong (SEAL Team)
Executive produced by Rashida Jones and Will McCormack

Hopefully this is only the first of many hypercompetent secondary characters realizing they should be the protagonist.

Deffo had that feeling watching Lady Bird and I only lived in Sacramento for 6 years.

Watched bits of "Hammer", the Matt Hammill biopic, and had the opposite feeling of seeing my whitebread suburbia hometown portrayed as a rural utopia.

First episode of Homecoming is pretty good.

Nice to have a drama that under 30 minutes.
