Yeah, government really operates on a different resource scale. I felt starved at 20 resources as the government last game. This game I have like 5 resources and i’m all “the world is my oyster!”

The key is that the government pays way more for actions than everybody else. All of your actions cost 1 (except for construct); right now all my actions cost 3 resources and will cost 4 after the next propaganda. Too late now though.
He gives you 4 resources: that is 4 non construct actions. He gets 12 resources: that is 3 actions for him next campaign.
Though there is always the other half of the event and you get a die roll of resources 3.5 on average, without the government getting anything. Of course I am biased for that one because I also get two resources.

Yeah, moving 1 piece into one of several places stops my win. I needed the prop round to give me another window to act to hope to get the win. But hey that means we get more game now.

@A Half Eaten Oreo I could seriously impede Directorio's progress, preventing the instant-win now and slowing him down for the next propaganda card, but it would require laundering a cash marker into a free limited operation. Any chance you would donate a cash marker for the cause?
2.3.6 Launder. Whenever a 1st or 2nd Eligible Faction pays Resources to execute an Operation (including a Limited Operation, 2.3.5) but executes no Special Activity, it may remove a Cash marker that it owns (4.5.2) to immediately execute an additional, free, Limited Operation of any type except Construct (3.3.5). Alternatively, a different Faction may remove its own Cash marker to enable the 1st or 2nd Eligible Faction to execute such a free Operation. A Faction may only benefit from 1 such Cash marker per card.
I feel DR is the hardest for me to oppose. Costs me 3 resources and a SA to lower his score by 1.
is the plan to Sweep to 10 cubes in Camaguey then gun down DR with my Cash? As long as you don't take control of La Habana to skim from my beautiful properties you can use my cash to shoot down some Rebel Scum.

To expand slightly: keep in mind letting him gain firm control of Camaguey gives him a Province to get support and win with.
I mean, you totally should stop me from winning but make sure you don’t get the government too much is all I’m saying.
Oh def, but it’s a 1 pop province. And I have a much easier time messing with mt. government than DR.

Sweepthreefour troops from Camaguey City into Camaguey province. Then activate all 3 Directorio guerrillas there. Launder one of Oreo's cash tokens (he chooses which one). Assault in Camaguey province, wiping out all three guerrillas and both bases.
Resources = 5. @admanb for a Limited Op followed by Propaganda.
Edited the number of troops to make the Assault work.
