    SBFP is also really good. The game isn't as made for them as it is for Lauren, but they're more conventionally entertaining.

    I wonder if anything special happens if you
    beat the secret boss and pacifist clear the game without saving over Kris' name in the save file
    meaning you have to beat it in one try

    I don't think you'd have to beat it in one try, I'm pretty sure it has some automatic checkpoints that don't save the game but that you do respawn at if you die.

    He also has the main credit for "Explore", which of course provided the background for the first flash that made most folks go "shit just got real".

    And not enough can be said about "Doctor". Like many, when I got to [ S] ACT 4 I kept it running in a tab while I continued on. No surprise that it went on to become one of the major backbones of the Homestuck musical canon. "Doctor" remixes or songs descended from it would feature in three other flashes, by my count: "Planet Healer" in [ S] John: Enter Village, "Savior of the Waking World" in [ S] JOHN. RISE UP, and "Savior of the Dreaming Dead" in [ S] Cascade.

    Rest in Peace.

    I thought ralsei’s white marks on the bottom of the face sprite were the edges of a smile obscured on the bottom part by the scarf

    Is that the case or were they neck lines or nostrils or something

    a late realization I've had about Deltarune:
    The sword you start out with is described as "a wooden training sword with a carbon rod core" or something like that.

    It's a pencil! That fits with everything being the toys and games that were scattered around the unused classroom you wake up in at the end.

    I'm not sure what the spooky sword was supposed to be though. Also I wonder if Suzie's axes were supposed to be anything.

    it's a halloween themes pencil. if you buy it and equip it you'll have a halloween themed pencil in the epilogue.

    I think having the spooky sword results in you having a different pencil when you go through the portal.

    Kris has a pencil equipped as his weapon at the beginning of the game, and equipping the spooky sword changes the pencil that Kris normally has equipped in the real world to something else. Can't remember exactly, but I think it was just an orange and black pencil? Gotta agree that Susie's axes are probably something as well, but I have no idea what.

    EDIT: Alas, beaten.
