@Rainfall a personal favorite that can come surprisingly close to southern bbq is country style pork ribs, lightly seasoned, and just mix up barbecue sauces as you like. I usually also add liquid smoke and a bit of worcestershire sauce, set the probe and go. The meat cooks up to temp fairly quick, but it'll just hold it at that exact temp you set basically forever. You could shred them with a fork they're so tender.
We do a similar thing with country style beef ribs, but we use slow cooker pot roast mix and toss some baby potatoes on top of the ribs. You could instead use french onion soup mix iirc

I opened the first box (which was HUGE)
It's a wok! And it's goddamn beefy! It's got a solid wood handle and it's carbon steel and it's been really well hammered out and I can't wait to season and use this
Yes! Utensils! I love cooking. Love the hell out of it. Problem is, my ADHD is sometimes real bad and I forget to pick things up or move them and hey they melt! So these utensils seem solid and I like them a lot. I swung a few around happily and was impressed by the heft and stability!
Yessssss I've been wanting this book for ages! I enjoy branching out from my comfort zone (American, Central American, and Cajun) and this cookbook is rad looking and I like what I've seen from this chef.
Ok so! You know how life is funny sometimes? These boxes showed up right after I finished cooking dinner.
Guess what was for dinner?
Fried cauliflower rice, crispy tofu, mushrooms, onions, and some sauces and seasonings.
So! Yeah! It would have worked wonders tonight but I will just have to make delicious Asian food again sometime soon I guesssssssss
