That was the best way to play Star Wars Racer. Loved doing that and having pretty good control over the thrust of each engine.
I think there were a few WWE fighters that used the D-pad instead of the analog.
The proper holding position for an N64 controller is by the cord as you are lowering it into a rubbish bin after buying an Interact pad.
Seriously, I used to have regular gaming nights with co-workers with much F-Zero and Goldeneye played, and people would almost come to blows over who got to use the Interact controller.
The stock n64 controller may not be the worst controller in history, but please understand that I’m making that comparison as someone who used to own an Intellivision.
Anyway. If you’re looking for a Pro controller for Smash, Amazon had a deal on them on Monday and it may be worth watching them to see if that shows up again. They also had spare Switch dock sets on discount and I grumbled and finally bought one for $49.50 which is still too much but grouse grouse I want to be able to just carry the thing from my tv next to the exercise bike to the tv in the living room without unhooking everything.

I used to hold the N64 controller by the outer prongs.
Humor can be dissected as a frog can, but dies in the process.
Oh right, I think I saw those Pro Controllers going for like 50 bucks, which didn't seem like much of a sale to me because I'm used to other console controllers, but now that I think about it, that was probably a big discount.

you have to pay a license fee to... read and write data off microSD cards greater than a certain capacity? wonder how they managed to copyright something like that
I believe it's the file system that's restricted. Larger cards have exFAT by default, that's how they get the fee. I don't know if that standard is mandated by anything, it isn't too hard to reformat SD cards to something like FAT32, and they still seem to work fine after that.

But I did not hold the controller that way I held it by the horns and used the middle stick with my thumb
but then the kids don't get the fun of NEW CHALLENGER APPROACHING
Hm, that brings to mind an interesting question: If I'm on my profile and unlock someone, will they be available for my wife to use on her profile as well?

I mean... The PS4 controller MSRP is $60? At least the Switch Pro controller comes with a charging cable. :P

Though micro USB is so common, I don't need any more of those cables. Hardly anything I own has USBC though, so I'd be upset if the Switch controller didn't come with one.

I always have to end up going on Amazon and buying the cables because I have 0 devices that use micro USB other than my PS4 controller. I hear this argument a lot but I feel like I'm not the only one who doesn't have piles of USB cables sitting around my house. I'd rather Sony provide the means to charge the device that I just bought rather than assuming everyone has cables laying around.

Doesn't the PS4 come with a charging cable for the controller? I've had one since 2013, and I don't remember having to go out and buy a separate cable to charge my controllers.
Everyone has a price. Throw enough gold around and someone will risk disintegration.
So if the micro sd is large enough there will be a fee to use it with the switch?
no. the issue at question was nintendo not paying for the license to read exFAT cards, so the Switch will format them to FAT32. there is no real problem.

No, separate profiles seem to be entirely separated instances of the game with regards to saves.

I bought one and it didn't. The one that came with my pro had a 2ft cable with it.
Edit oh yeah the console one comes with a short cable. But if you buy a new one off the shelf it does not contain one.

Been watching some playthroughs of the Trauma Center games.. Atlus really need to consider bringing them to Switch. The Wii versions were really well done, and they would work well with the Joycons and the Switch's touchscreen.
I just want more Trauma Center in general. I need more surgery simulators with increasingly ridiculous plots in my life.

That seems suspiciously low, be careful of counterfeits (amazon is rife with them). For reference I bought a 128gb on sale BF for around that price..
I got a 128 GB sandisk one for $20 USD a couple weeks before black friday from newegg (actual newegg, not a third party selling on newegg), it was on sale though

I think I've held that controller in 3 or 4 different ways playing games and none of them felt right. I still don't know how to hold it.

But I would.
Left hand on middle prong, using analog stick; right hand on the right prong, using the buttons.
Unless a game needs the d-pad, this is how you should always hold it.
The bundle I think is $20 over the cost of the items separately because it comes with a steel case
So the cheapest is probably buy game on amazon (if you have prime, for discount) and try to find a used pro controller

You get prompted to grab a patch the first time you insert an exFAT card, no matter your firmware.
