She's good in racing situations where they are just pressing Jeanne and Beatrix buffs and then mashing attack (because lol atma sword, and Aegis Merge is at least a decent self buff that you only have to press once), but for solo fights the defensive utility from someone like Nicholas will definitely be more helpful.
Unless you need Veil, of course. Veil is one of those dumb skills that is either 100% useless or absolutely critical. At least Vira gets a self TA buff on hers.

Vira's unique mod is 15% ATK/DEF, 50% DA, 15% TA, 25% Dark Dmg Lowered, 50% Bonus Light Damage, and a 10% Uplift. And she has a 7/3 additional 15% ATK. I'd easily take her over Nicholas if you didn't need his cut/protection. She's going to blow the other choices out of the water damage wise.

Shit, I need to decide between Gisla number 3 or Scathacha.
I don't have the bars for Gisla right now because I barred Love Eternal instead so I'm leaning towards Wind Erune Dragon.

I’m rummaging through side stories for draw tickets and trophies, and now have enough crystals and tickets for 200 draws. How many more should I be trying to get, to line up decently with whatever amount of free draws they’ll probably do this month?
This ticket is between Light-Silva and one of the good Earth-characters.
I feel party-saturation in Wind, and don't know where to put Kokkoro. I've got Jeanne trying to keep up with Kokkoro, Lecia, Korwa and Scathacha on buffing, and Zooey on "buffing".
I've got Melissabelle and Monica on feeding Lecia.
And that's only the ones doing some things she does.

Weird how they accidentally released playable Grimnir during the Princes Connect collab
Kokkoro seems pretty good for a free character. I also like how, now that they've fixed wind Metera, there are no bad wind SSRs. Like the worst one is Andira actually, and she's getting an FLB soon anyways and will probably end up busted.
Oh wait, I guess Christina the casino girl is still terrible, but eh whatever she doesn't count.

According to the tier list, Carmelina is also about par with Christina. When it comes down to replacing anyone on my team, she’s probably going out before Mirin.

Kokkoro is going to end up on the higher end of Wind SSRs in general, free or not
Nearly continuous 40% Wind Atk, 30% Atk, 50% DA, 25% TA is fucking ludicrous

Wiki tier list is pretty bad, though Carmelina admittedly isn't all that great outside a couple fights.
That is true, but Wind appreciates the healing these days too
If you can get to full stamnity, yeah. But if the character is aimed at newer players (because otherwise you'll have 'graduated' to Nio), then you're still in full enmity. At that point, you probably want full control over your healing, not be 'forced' to do it to maintime uptime on her buffs.

I wouldn't feel safe around Pecorine. There is a non-zero possibility that she would just inhale you in her sleep/start sleep eating and that'd be the end of that.

i could live with "farm a ridiculous number of these items" but the inventory interface for that kind of process is Not Great
Double AP event finally ending (until the 21st)
Free daily single + 200 crystals
1/2 AP Raids, Main Quest, Specials (not Co-Op or SS, looks like)
And some kind of new quest available where the first 30 runs are free, next until 300 are 15AP only, quest drops 1/2 pots, Angel mats, Light mats.
